Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
BSG in 4 minutes.
Well, bad tempered isn’t probably fair, she’s just wild.
You might want to add a line, "Dog not included."
Heh.... good point! :~)
Yeah, good show.
I’m sure I’d enjoy it, but I am still on dialup.
It’s adorable...very nice.
Dang, they’re cute.
I’ve been being a worthless bum and just watchin’ TV and holding the Halvah cat. Been a long week.
Good Caturday Morning ALL: Day 1 of ‘Streets Alive’ has faded into the mists, Day 2 soon will be upon us. The downtown is an open container area, so long as it isn’t brought in. Me thinks one or two people brought their, judging from the cans along the sidewalk.
Music report: being one block from the main stage, “it’s almost like being there..” oh, that’s right, we are there. Surprisingly enough one of the bands was quite good, the others shouldn’t quit their day jobs. The unmuffled Harleys using our street as their launching pad provided an interesting counter-point the bands.
‘Morning.
I need to fence in the newly emerging beans in a bunny fence today....clear out the bolting arugula, lettuce, spinach...plant more stuff.
I coulda sworn I ordered sweet potatoes from Burpee. They should show up any day now.....
Mornin’,
Not goin’ outside until we have to. It’s already 85 and they’re expecting 99. Not a cloud in the sky.
Instead, doin’ a “clean sweep” of thehomeoffice. Mortgage company says they have no record of my March, April or May payments. Funny, I’ve got the confirmation and the bank statements.
Honestly, I’m quite capable of screwin’ up my own life all by myself. I don’t need any help.
Great ad. I particularly liked the part where you said you don’t want them to grow up as barn cats. That will get some ‘rescuer’ types to step up to the plate.
You might want to add that the kitties get along well with dogs. You have a picture showing that but...
Great ad. If I lived near Washington I’d be very tempted! I’d actually love the Momma Cat but she doesn’t need more changes now.
Oh great... lovely.
We’re going to a gun show this morning. Yay.
Rosie, we were even lazier than you... we hit the couch early and fell asleep within the first show we tried to watch. :~)
Today may not be as rainy as it’s been... may get something done outside.
Kittens and momma all OK this morning... I’ve given them their breakfast and after their after-breakfast nap, we’ll move them to their day playpen.
Bunnies are fenced out.
I need to get a cover for the ‘maters now.
I can haz sweet ‘taters!
more cat pictures
Just wish it’d warm up a bit. I’d even be OK with a bit of heat...briefly...
Got groceries. Went to the library to pick up a book I had on reserve, and got all thrown off because they now have reserve books out where you can pick them up without having to ask at the counter. And then check them out at the automatic check-out. No personal interaction required.
I guess it means I can now reserve my serial killer and bio-warfare books without having to make eye contact with those who know I’ve done so. ;-) But I kinda liked the old way.
