Fortunately...sorta...we were smart enough to get the insurance. He can get it replaced for $50. Still, it’s a pain in the butt.

Wasn’t this possible scenario discussed awhile back - the stuff-getting-stolen-from-church? I’m experiencing deja vu, and I dunno why.
So am I, for several reasons.
That’s what my story is too, a memoir. I will give the scout story its own separate file, maybe it will go faster.
I am currently working on that, my Nano story and another one, based on the memoir but with a fictional storyline, so I have three going at once now.
You have to have a teenager for it to make any remote sense at all. It might have been $300, I don’t recall, but it was part his responsibility, part birthday present.
You’re experiencing deja vu because he had $50 taken from his wallet in the same place a year or so ago.
~That time~ they left the phone, since the $50 was worth more. But the phone is worthless to anyone else now. We reported it stolen and it was discontinued. They can’t take it to any service provider to have it reactivated. It will be traced by the serial number.

We had a good time over the weekend, the Indiana Jones movie was corny but amusing, the Rush concert was loud and good, glad we went! They’re old guys now but they can still rock. ;~)
But it wiped us out for a day... we were pretty useless yesterday, getting in so late and all. Just sat around and watched movies and barely wanted to chat with anyone!
Was planning on mowing but it’s raining out.
Been shuffling animals, making arrangements to have momma feral spayed. Kittens need homes, need to make up a flyer or somethin’ for them.

Not Valerie wrote the obituary. I asked her if she knew they charged by the word...(she did).
We’re most likely having Abby put down on Thursday evening. She’s not doing any better. Today she came out from behind the piano and went to pee...in her bed.

She was both frustrating and amusing me the other night with the way she dive-bombs out of the crate the second the door is opened.
Heh... and by the time you turn around to grab her, she’s gone, and two more have tumbled out. ;~)
That crate is getting pretty small for them to do anything but sleep and eat. I let them play in the bedroom today till they ran themselves tired and I found them all curled up on the bed. :~)

We’re sorry to hear bout Abbey. It’s never easy, doing the right thing. I do believe we have a mutual acquaintance that has several excellent replacement kitties, once a proper interval of time has passed. You may want to consider getting two, as they are siblings and all.
