I hope Sissy gives your mom great joy! If Chachi is happy, it looks like a sure thing.

Introducing our newest little family member. Our vet found her wandering in the country near his home and brought her to his clinic. After checking around to see if anyone lost this little girl and keeping her with him at the clinc for a few days, he vaccinated her then called us to see if we wanted to give her a home. He said she is a special little dog, he thinks she is about three years old and weighs about eight pounds, and she needs a good loving home. He didn't want to send her to the animal shelter, knowing that my mom (who lives with us) recently lost her little Silky Terrier and that she would be a perfect "mom" for this little one.
We are calling her "Sissy" and Chachi thinks she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen! Of course, we don't know her history, but we do know that this little dog has been handled with love and care, she has been fed table food and pampered. How she got separated from her family, we will never know. But she loves people, all she wants is to be cuddled and petted. How can we not love her?
We have taken her on a trial basis, but it's beginning to look like we will be her "forever" family. She is really bonding with my mom. How can we possibly take her back?

Oh, how quickly these little furry things work their way into our hearts, huh?
Yes, the trial period was over before it even begun. Our vet knows we could not refuse this little lost waif. He knew exactly who to call.
