Nice. Thank you, Cardhu.

These travelogues gives me itchy feet. I need a vacation; we won't be able to take one until August.

But only one mother the wide world over.

So very, very true.

Isn’t that true, Dita. We only get one Mother.

Sometimes Marissa does something especially sweet or cute and I wish I could call my mom to share the experience with her.

I absolutely know what you mean:) I’m forever saying, my Mother would like someone I’ve met, or something I come across and so forth. She is with me often. So, I think in a way, you can “call” and tell her:)

Meteor Strikes Earth Day.

(Luckily, it was only Hillary Clinton's
campaign crashing and burning.)

Thanks, Cardi. Munich is one of my favorite cities. At the Staatliches Hofbräuhaus I inadvertently sat at the Stammtisch
(regular's reserved table) and had a wonderful conversation with the mayor when he arrived with his party. South of Munich
(in the early part of your presentation), the Cafe Mueller at the foot of Neuschwanstein has the best creamy cheesecake
my wife and I have ever sampled. (Bugatti Restaurant at the CNN Center in Atlanta has/had the best tiramisu, IOHO.)

A Child’s Wonder
That they may arise and declare [God’s law] to their children, that they may set their hope in God. —Psalm 78:6-7

In 19th-century Scotland, a young mother observed her 3-year-old son’s inquisitive nature. It seemed he was curious about everything that moved or made a noise. James Clerk Maxwell would carry his boyhood wonder with him into a remarkable career in science. He went on to do groundbreaking work in electricity and magnetism. Years later, Albert Einstein would say of Maxwell’s work that it was “the most fruitful that physics has experienced since the time of Newton.”

From early childhood, religion touched all aspects of Maxwell’s life. As a committed Christian, he prayed: “Teach us to study the works of Thy hands . . . and strengthen our reason for Thy service.” The boyhood cultivation of Maxwell’s spiritual life and curiosity resulted in a lifetime of using science in service to the Creator.

The community of faith has always had the responsibility to nurture the talent of the younger generation and to orient their lives to the Lord, “that they may arise and declare [God’s law] to their children, that they may set their hope in God” (Ps. 78:6-7).

Finding ways to encourage children’s love for learning while establishing them in the faith is an important investment in the future.

Our children are a gift from God
On loan from heaven above,
To train and nourish in the Lord,
And show to them His love. —Sper

We shape tomorrow’s world by what we teach our children today.

That is a great picture you posted. I have been to many places in Europe but I have never been to Munich. I really love Germany it is one of the leaders in technology and industry but it still retains its old world charm.

The German people are fun to be around when on holiday they love to gather together and sing those wonderful folk songs of theirs.

Thanks for the journey through 18th and 19th century Europe
through the eyes and canvasses of the great master painters.
It was truly a delight to see their depictions of life in those times.

A husband in his back yard is trying to fly a kite. He throws the kite up in the air, the
wind catches it for a few seconds; then it comes crashing back down. He tries this a
few more times with no success.

All the while his wife is watching from the kitchen window, muttering to herself how
men need to be told how to do everything.

She opens the window and yells to her husband, “You need more tail.”

The man turns with a confused look on his face and says, “Make up your mind. Last
night, you told me to go fly a kite.”
