" And so today, here in Washington and across our country, we pay tribute to all who have fallen -- a tribute never equal to the debt they are owed. We will forever honor their memories. We will forever search for their comrades, the POWs and MIAs. And we pledge -- we offer a solemn pledge to persevere and to provide the security for our citizens and secure the peace for which they fought." ~~ President George W. Bush, 5/26/08

Are you taking Vit-C? Take some mega doses of C. 2000 Mg every 4 hours. That is my cure for a cold. Lots of liquids too. Chicken soup. If all that doesn’t work, get thee to the dr.

Me too. I had three sons and one daughter. My daughter is a career woman who didn’t marry until she was 40. No children. One son in heaven, one a confirmed bachelor, and only the youngest son to provide the grandaughter. Her Mom nearly died from childbirth, so there probably won’t be any more grandchildren. Needless to say, the little chicky is very spoiled, but she is so sweet and unselfish, and behaves so well, it’s hard to believe.

Our Side of the Wall
The souls of heroes are laid down,
Like bricks in ordered rows,
To make a wall, an edifice,
A structure that still grows.
Upon this side, stern silence reigns,
The code of fallen men,
It takes a focused feeling to,
Receive our thoughts again.
The thing that every soldier here,
Would say is short and sweet,
Go live your life but learn as well,
Dont make this scene repeat.
If there were one thing I would say,
Id say it with a shout!
This walls not here to keep us in.
Its there to keep you out.

Yes, ma'am. :-)
I used to take mega-doses of vitamin C when I would get a cold, but then discovered Echinacea. It usually helps to lessen the severity of cold symptoms and shortens the duration. I took some the first couple days, then stopped. Maybe I should have continued. :-(
I will take some vitamin C and Echinacea right now.

My daughter and son in law waited 4 years to be financially ready for my daughter to stay at home and raise babies. (I am thankful for that). Son in law is an engineer.
My son and daughter in law will start working on giving Hadley a cousin soon. But they are going to try to time it to arrive after tax season 2009. My son is a very successful CPA and wants to be available to help out. My daughter in law plans to stay at home too. (I am thankful for that)

"This one has me thinking. I think." Getting back into the habit?
You've been to busy to do it recently.

I’ve been to Busy. I didn’t like it in Busy. So I left Busy and came back here.
