I grew up in Hopatcong, 45 miles from NYC, people think it’s the country, it’s on the border of Morris and Sussex counties (both traditionally heavy Republican), in Sussex county.
We would play sports against the other Sussex county towns and they though Hopatcong was Manhattan. There’s TONS of open spaces and farms in NJ, less than an hour and a half from the idiots in Manhattan screaming that there’s not one last strip of land to build on in the entire country and we must stop.
