Believe it or not, I now have a huge, swollen face. I have an abscessed tooth! Good grief... can it get any worse???? I have NO time to get into the dentist until at least next week, mid week by then.
Swish a mixture of peroxide and warm water in your mouth, kassie. Keep the mixture by the affected tooth area. Do it a few times a day. ((kassie))
Warm salt water helps a bit, too, but all home remedies are temporary and should not replace antibiotics.
kassie, will the doctor prescribe an antibiotic (sp) for you? I don’t know if it will help you but if I get a toothache and can’t get to the docs right away, well, brandy used as mouthwash has always helped. MR HOB can’t stand to see me do that but it helps. Constant swishing of listerine helps me too, and Ibuprophen
