It is chilly, but the high is suppose to be 80 today, and by Monday -85. Ewwwww.
Hope you get some sunshine up your way.
Good morning.
Do baby aspirins help your dog?
You are so funny.
At first, no, but if I give her them regularly with a meal....yes.
Glucosamine and Chondroitin seem to help, too.
Good morning.
I'm waiting for the dew to dry, then, outside I go.
Raven, so sorry about your lab. Tough to face.

Yes, we found an Acme. Nice store.
Continuing my prayers for your mom, you and your family.
>>Tough to face.
No...not that...we know the time will come, it’s just not now.
The whole deal is we don’t want the dog in pain.
Same up here, it’s cool and windy, but should get up into the high 70s. How are you doing kassie? Are you taking time for YOURSELF?
A few years ago, I needed medicine for my dog and I was given the option of going to a pharmacy forit. The catch was of course, I had to go to a particular one that carried the right dosage.
My former assistant, used to give her dog her anti-inflammatory since it was cheaper than the dog's script. Go figure.
Glad you are finding another vet. The last vet who pulled that trick on me wante d to put down an 8 month old German shephard who sliced her achilles tendon. A dog orhto sugeon and a $1000.00 + later, she was fine; lived to be 13 when cancer got her.
No, although I will be in Iowa City, I have to work. Are you?
If you have not done so, feel free to give your lab baby aspirin twice a day (coated aspirin), and we administered Glucosomine with MSM to our small dogs - 1 pill each day - the lab might need 2. It really helps -
Someone on my dog list recommended Gluc w/MSM (rather than with condroitin), and I bought some, and tried it myself to see what I thought. It was fabulous! My body really needed the MSM. I would not want to live without it, honestly.
I even gave it to my Mom who had dementia, altho she was functioning still in her own home, next door to me.
For both of us, it helped with pain and mental capabilities and depression.
My dogs always got their share, and even tho they had arthritis, never had to minimize their walks or other activities, altho they were more careful.
That sounds like me after a 12 hour shift in the kitchen.

Seems as we have a ‘tuck tail and run’ candidate running for president, ODAMNA. He is one who talks both sides out of him mouth, DOES NOT WEAT THE AMERICAN FLAG ON HIS COAT and flouts it in our faces, lies out of both sides of his mouth at the same time and a whole like of dimwitts are eating it up. IF he bears ole HILL-O-REE I am hoping that a lot of her follows will join US and beat this very, very dangers man and yes, I worry about him a great deal. He reminds me of the person who satan posses and is determined to take over the free world thru him. No, I am not nuts, I truly believe this. As our saying goes here in the south.’the truth ain't in him’. Better get off this subject so my blood pressure will go down.
As a side job my SIL has taken up restoring old pictures by computer and his little side business in turning into a very profitable second income, needs it too with these two Lille ‘heathens’ (just kidding) we have now nd it looks like D will go for one more (hopefully, one more to spoil and can you believe that she accuses me of doing this to the two we have now?
I am hoping that I will get back into my ‘shack in the back’ just real soon, I love it in the big house but I really enjoy it in my shack. Good thing about it D has offered to clean it up real good before I get back in, how bout them apples.
Looked out the door this morning and several of my chickens are sporting some little chicks, running around everywhere. At this rate I am going to have to put as extension on my chicken coop. Since I have been down and out I will have to completely clean the coop out from top to bottom and a ‘certain matter’ is all over the place (if you get my drift).
Just wanted to drop in and say howdy and am wishing that all have a good, safe day and by the way, thanks to all for being such good friends.

Lady, you have gone and made me hungry for some GRITS!!!!
It will be in the mid 80s here, today.
Talking about dogs, my chickens will lay with the dogs when all are tired (I guess).
Now, to get that bowl of grits, see you all later.
Toby
