Happy 2000000!
Looks like the run my dog used to have (just kidding)
I’ll be working at 0800.
All I know for sure is that Jesus said, “I will forgive whom I will forgive. But of you, it is required to forgive everyone.” I don’t know where the Scripture is, and I’m not good at hunting for them, but I take this one most seriously.
I want to be forgiven for ALL my transgressions, large and small, and I can’t do that if I don’t forgive EVERYONE!
So I do. Besides: I hear you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. ;o])
Morning. I think. Windy. Dusty, but not supposed to get much hotter than right now. 76....25mph wind...tomorrow, we’ll be lucky if we reach 76 for a high.
(Be safe on your Mission, rottie.)
Morning! 60’s and windy here, after storms last night. I’m working on testing with the little girls and trying to schedule summer activities with the Brownies.
When I got Vlad out of bed this morning, he put his arms around my neck and said, “Mama, I found my way home!”
WHOA! That must have been some dream Vlad had!
I hate the wind. I hate the dust it brings. And we have three more days of this, but the temp is going to be cooler.
*sigh*
I can’t win.
I think it had to do with the three little pigs, a recent topic on “Super Why!” This is a dumb, but cute, PBS show that teaches reading skills.

Ah. At least he doesn’t have industrial strength dreams, yet. Innocence is bliss!
!?
'f I's you, I think I'd explore that deer track until I found the other end.
I mean; what are we talkin' about, here: above-average dream, visitation, vision in the night...?
If the comment isn't simply the product of a really great imagination, the boy might be prophetically gifted or something.
I would not discount the possibility of his being prophetically gifted - not after I had two daughters tell me they were going to have brothers before I was even pregnant. Sally even got the date right!
However, Vlad often wakes up in the morning and talks to himself about a story we’ve read him, or a Tv show he’s seen, and in this case I think he’d been reviewing the pig show, which included a happy ending for the little pig who cried, “Weeweeweee, I can’t find my way home!”
LOL!
"To forgive, or not" is a determination that is not legitimately within our purview.
Sounds like you’re going to be keeping your Discern-O-Meter running 24/7/365. Might be a Joel 2:28-29 thing happening right under your own roof.
Just not the part about the piggie. LOL!
Come to think of it, it must have been Elen, because Sally was only 21 months old when Pat was born, so (even in our family) she wouldn’t have been talking like an adult 10 or 11 months earlier.
I expect to see the Spirit working in my family, but sometimes it’s just something obvious. I remember when Anoreth was a toddler, she used to talk about horses in our apartment all the time, and my husband thought there might be something funny going on. I said, “Haven’t you ever listened to the guy upstairs walking around his apartment?” CLOMP, CLOMP, CLOMP. I called him, “The Man with the Cement Shoes.” My husband is lead-footed, too, so it’s a good thing we were downstairs :-).
I’ll have to look for that, I guess.
I can’t remember where it is. I just remember it.
Well, the key thing to focus on is that you’ve got the Truth pegged, whether or not the exact wording exists in the Scriptural record. Synthesis of multiple passages into a body of teaching on a single idea is legitimate hermeneutics, providing that each bit retains the sense and meaning that it has in its original context. So, see; you’re halfway to being a preacher and didn’t even know it.
;-)
As well as I know my way aroung the Bible, I still have to rely too much on concordances, and on-line search tools. I take comfort the fact that even St. Paul, with his “Pharisee of Pharisees” scriptural education, had a moment in Hebrews 4:4 where he couldn’t nail the “address” of a scriptural reference, but wrote “somewhere he has said...”
So, there ya go; anytime you can’t recall the exact reference, appeal to Hebrews 4:4 and say “somewhere it is written...” You’ll be in fine company.
LOL!
Thanks!
I try to be a good example because words often fail me when I need them most. All the Chapters and Verses in the the Bible confuse me, so I have to hang onto the parts that make sense.
God is logical, and Satan is the author of confusion. If it’s logical, I’m more inclined to remember it.
