Happy 2000000!
See you! I’m trying to reach a man from church about substituting with the Spanish choir on Sunday, because we’ll be at the beach. Otherwise, I’d be out of here, too. I’ll give one more try, and then come up with a Plan B.
Without knowing the details of your situation, I can’t really comment. However, I’ve attending seminars with some of the “big guns” in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and they all agree that forgiving is one of the best things a person can do for his physical health, and that not forgiving can be literally crippling.
The kids have wreaked havoc with my bookshelves, and I can’t find the books by one particular priest, but he said that he has seen people healed through prayer, but if they don’t commit to a spirituality of forgiveness, their symptoms of illness will return.

I don't know anything about the "Catholic Charismatic Renewal," only what I presume is the Episcopal equivalent... but... they're right. (And I will add not only crippling but fatal. I have seen it.)
Catholic Charismatic Renewal is (so to speak) Pentecostal spirituality in a Catholic theological context. Praying in tongues, prophecy, healing, and so forth. I know there’s something similar among Anglicans.
In the Catholic Church, the Vatican has a representative who keeps an eye on things, as there’s always the potential to drift from sound doctrine and practice. Most dioceses have a priest who’s a “liaison” and monitors Charismatic groups and activities in the diocese. Some of these representatives are really involved in the Renewal, and others just monitor, which is fair.
Just as in the Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion has most of its Charismatic activity in Africa, Asia, and South America. However, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal did start in the United States.
Not today....
Tomorrow Veterans Without Families...4 more vets will be interred at RNC.....We will be their family.
Saturday there is a mission in Oceanside—Active duty woman killed in a military vehicle accident. It just happens to be the same cemetery where my grandparents are buried.
Good Night ‘Face!
Yah? Here, it sucks.
Well, something blows....
That is how jets engines works.
+a-s
I thought jets blast...
Let me take this whole topic up a notch and note that forgiveness is enabled by adherence to "The Second-greatest Commandment" (cf. Matt: 22:36-39), which is most genuinely achieved as a byproduct -- fallout, if you will -- of our devotion to "The Greatest Commandment".
I had posted this to another thread, early this month, and would only add that the initial "spark" within us has to be something of a John 17:26 revelation.
Now, I can't read "I have made Your name known" without thinking of YHVH making the fullness of His NAME known to Moses in Exodous 34, and after reading that, I start to wonder where the Eleven got it like Moses got it. Well, then I recall what Jesus said in John 14:7-11, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father."
The bottom line is this: if your forgiveness tank is low, check the level on your "love they neighbor" tank; it's probably low, too, which almost always means your "vetrical" relationship is suffering from neglect.
Keep the "vertical" relationship vital and vibrant, and all of the "horizontals" will get right, as a matter of course.
International standards, Aren't you glass the UN is not involved with them.
Chocolate: Good stuff, I like dark chocolate. I have been to Ghirardelli Square and when I was in Pennsylvania they say Hershey don't do winters so we spent all or time at Gettysburg.
Catholic Charismatic Renewal:
Proverbs 17:22 A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
My that glad not glass,
Jets suck air in the front and blow it out the back. This makes a better joke than tell someone that something sucks and blasts and the same time.
Example: Our senators from California are like a fine tuned jet engine.
Other guy:Really? How is that?
Me. They both blow and suck at the same time.
I live with in a few miles of RNC.
If you’re available....tomorrow morning we meet behind the admin building at the main entrance at 0830, with military honors at 0900. You are most welcomed to come. I [hope] to be there [on time]....I drop the gurleez off at school in Anaheim at 0800. It’s 50 miles from my front door to RNC. You do the math.
BTW....Don’t tornadoes blow and suck at the same time?
Hurricanes do the same, and they happen quite often here.
All that blowin’ and suckin’ goin’ on over there....
Makes me want to move.
Hey watch it, this is a family thread....
