prayer bump
I’m offering Tuesday evening prayers on your behalf, Jim.
Thank you, Amy.
Ongoing prayers for you here as well.
LUB,
Thank you, Quix. Tomorrow is my CT scan.
Jim
LORD, GOD,
I’m nothing as you well know. But my Brother JimRob has a need . . . several needs . . .
And you said to boldly ask—to open our mouths wide and ask largely of you, Lord.
I do so for my brother tonight.
May the tecnicians and MD’s and RN’s treat him with the warmest and kindest care.
May your Holy Spirit and Blood course through every cell and fiber of his being tonight and cause miraculous things to occur that will show up on the CT scan tomorrow. May he be surprised as well as the tecnicians.
Above, all, Lord, may his soul prosper that his body and all his being and doings may prosper and be in health even as his soul draws closer to you by your Grace and power, in Jesus’ Name.
Cause him to know beyond a shadow of doubt more than ever before in his life that you are altogether good and seek good for him. Lord, God, please cause him to see his situation as you see it and to see your solutions as you see them, in Jesus’ Name.
The same, Lord for Alamo-Girl’s neice and hsmomx3’s situation in her family . . . and MarySecretary’s needs for healing and/or a kidney.
And my local brother Steve B with bone marrow transplant; pig valves in his heart and a liver transplant . . . heading to Mayo to be checked out extensively again.
Lord, we are all utterly dependent on you for our very breath. May we learn to hold you as a higher priority God, than our very breath. May we learn what it means for you to be our all in all as never before—preferably by your grace rather than through fiery furnaces, Lord. Please change and overhaul us in our sleep, Lord.
We’re just your flawed kids. We stumble along as the flawed humans we are. Only you are the author and finisher of our faith and of us. Help us cooperate with you as thoroughly and rapidly as possible, Lord.
Please wrap your arms around JimRob very comfortingly. May he know the intensity of your love for him as never before, In Jesus’ Name,
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
I’ll plan to fast at least some tomorrow toward your encouragement in mind, soul, spirit and body through the whole experience, Bro.
Thanks for letting me know.
Prayers Up!
Amen.
And thanks again, Quix.
You just happen to be worth it, Jim. Many times over.
‘Tis an honor to be able to. Thanks for the opportunity to love you in tangible ways some of us can manage. Though I wish it were about nicer challenges than such physical ones.
LUB, HAVE A GOOD REST when you can.
Heading to bed.
I join in your prayer, dear brother in Christ! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your continuing prayers, dear WVNan!
Thank you, dear Quix.
U R MORE THAN welcome.
Jim
Get some rest and leave the praying to us;)

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Don’t know if today’s CT scan worked or not. My weak veins wouldn’t support the IV they wanted to use so they put in the smallest they had. The technician warned that it might not stand up to the pressure of the dye, but he’d reduce the pressure and give it a try. It blew. Some of the dye entered my veins but a lot of it ran down my arm. Guess we’ll know more tomorrow or the next day. The doc says she might reschedule an MRA scan that doesn’t use dye, but the surgeon says it probably won’t give him the info he needs. I’m also scheduled for some kind of scan on Monday in nuclear medicine. Sure hoping they find the problem and come up with a treatment plan soon. In the meantime, I’m hanging in there.
Pinging you to Jim’s update.
Jim, I’ll be praying that they injected enough dye to get some info from the CT Scan. I’m praying for some relief from the pain so you can get some much needed rest.
Take care and keep us posted on the progress or non-progress.
I’ll keep you in my prayers Jim.
Happy to hear that your local VA is providing excellent care.
Happy, but not surprised, since I have always found my local VA to be top notch.
Continue to hang in there and jk and I will continue to pray.
