That would be cool. I want to say that Curt Knight wore number 4 but I think he wore 5. I think the punter was number 4.

I don’t think he’d come back to Washington, they aren’t a very good team, they’re in a tough division, and the weather there is almost as bad as Green Bay. If he comes back it’ll be to a serious contender, or a nice cushy dome team. Maybe he’ll finish his career where it started, Atlanta desperately needs a QB, their division stinks so anybody can win, and it’s climate controlled.

Favre would be coming back in a cowardly manner. He doesn't want to play in GB because the team is actually good and if it didn't make it to the SB with him next year he would be seen as the reason. Instead, Aaron Rodgers gets to be the reason if the Pack stumble next season.

Going to a team with hardly any expectations seems more like paying for a paycheck than playing for a ring. If he wanted one more shot at the SB, Green Bay is by far his best choice solely because he knows the offense and the team. My two cents...

You can forget Washington. There's no way at this point that they're going to bench Campbell in favor of Farve, for the sake of a long-shot playoff bid. Zorn has already integrated his West Coast passing game with their existing running game, and has been working with Campbell to get him used to it. And they certainly won't bring him in as a backup - they resigned Collins, and as it is, another grizzled gray mare - Brunell - is likely to be shown the door before training camp, in favor of a younger 'work in progress' third-stringer.

What makes you say he’ll come to Washington?

Because the owner likes to spend money on fantasy football picks.

He was willing to pay $9 million for Mark Brunell, why not that for Favre?

Miami, maybe? Bill Parcells may be able to pull it off.
I don’t think he will play in a cold-weather city either, but you never know.

Right now PHI, BAL, WAS, JAX, NYJ, ARI, DEN, SF, CHI, DET, HOU AND ATL all have QB issues where adding Farve is possible. The NFC North teams are probably out of the running, for obvious reasons.

Brett should do the Elway....soft shoe out of the game and let us remember him as one of the greats who knew when to quit.

Wouldn't Carolina be one of those as well?

Delhomme can't stay healthy, it seems, and they went through two other QB's before starting a rookie late last season.

Brett really loved the home town atmosphere that Green Bay offered. Although he never relished playing in the cold weather, his heart will always be Green Bay.

Mike Bragg wore number 4. He was the punter.

Brunell is already gone; he signed with New Orleans.
