hey pookie, just heard daily toons was ending. many thanks man for a bunch of great reads

I guess now I can let everyone in on how I used to beat the ping so many times.

I turned off the images using the options on firefox. Even then beating the ping was still hard but doable.

Speaking of copyright problems... Some of you might be aware of this but I found a google group for idiots earlier in the week:

freerepublic watch

I was looking for info about the server being down and wanted to see if there were any google FreeRepublic groups. Under description it says:

For the reporting of copyright violations by the the above site.

Only 3 members and one idiotic post in that particular group.

But it shows that there are weenies out there actively looking to make copyright trouble here. And why there's a need to be cautious.

And pookie, I wasn't on your ping list but I loved your toon postings too.

I can’t...I still send out HTML to a FReeper who posts the Toons in a few Yahoo! groups & as a post to some Usenet Newsgroups...also send it to ex-FReeper Prime Choice aka Sacred Cow Burgers, etc.
