I saw your post, of Sam Cooke’s “Twisting The Night Away” earlier today, when I was scanning threads and comments.
He was one of my all time favorites, and I loved hearing the song.
I went to You Tube to find it, and saw a listing of a huge number of videos by amateurs singing it. I didn’t listen to many of them...too painful. lol.
But, I did come across this video that just blew me away, because the guy sounds so much like Sam Cooke!...

It was posted at You Tube a month ago. The artist is called “The Mississippi Soul Man”, and the blurb says he is the “Ex lead singer of The American Four Tops Tribute band.Originally from the USA now living in Manchester,UK. Singer for all occasions.The Four Tops,Drifters,Temptations,Sam Cooke etc. “
I was wondering if anyone here had ever heard of him?
