Missed you guys too! Everything’s great as always! The breakfast looked scrumptious! Caramel popcorn sounds good too?! Can y’all tell I love food?! LOL Some people eat to live, some people live to eat!
Re: marsh-hens—#2 son has always had his own vocabulary. He calls them martians, and he pronunces sea gulls like you say eagle. shaking head—LOL When he started kindergarden, tehy wanted to put him in speech therapy. I told them to leave him alone—he’d only been talking for a year or so. Both my boys were very physical—they could take anyhting apart, run any kind of equipment. In other words—BOYS! My daughter was miss priss, prim and proper. Always “Do it meself!” Hated to have to ask for anything, even though she could. When she was tested for kindergarden, they’d show her pics of something and they’d want her to say water or whatever. She’d say lake or somesuch. They were shocked she knew so many words/could accurately name so many things.
Internet is working again here but so am I! Greenhouse is hopping and boss’ FIL died Sat. He had to go out of town for the funeral, won’t be back til Tues. Tom should be really fun.
If I don’t make it back for a couple of ddays, you’ll know why! Have a great...week, jsut in case!
You’re welcome. Thanks for posting it.

That is so very dainty, just like me...hehe... really, it is pretty. Thank you, (((Mama Bear))).
(((Fatima))), laffing away here. Party Penguin makes my life complete!!!
;o) Hope you are enjoying your day!
Remind me to stay away from the John McCain threads gang, I will get called heartless, leftest and ect ect other evil names!
I used to join in all the time but stopped a long time ago..I have high blood pressure and don’t need the rudeness of some of the posters who major in insults.
Today is also National Tartan Day... mdittmar posted a thread re same. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1996991/posts?page=1
Mama Bear, I am going to make some homemade hummingbird nectar in a little while. The store-bought mix didn’t seem too popular. A hummer cruised by my window just as I came home an hour ago; I think that was a hint:)
I had a surprise birthday celebration after church today. We sat outside on this lovely Spring day, so very enjoyable. I don’t want to brag too much, but it’s been terrific!! Thanks, everyone, for remembering....(((HUGS)))
I agree with Amy; you cannot post too many pictures of that lovely baby, YOUR first grand-baby. Who wouldn’t be proud?!
P.S. Sorry about the escalator thing:)
OMG talk about really rude...
Well, see? I knew that. ;-)
And, I just really noticed post #457, a nice combination of Billie's graphic and CG's excellent poem.
It's also not good for them, or, not AS good for them as homemade....especially if it has dye in it to make it red. I cook up a double batch (eight cups) and take some of over to my MIL for her feeder. It stores well in the refrigerator too. But in the summer I don't need to worry about it getting old in the refer, with three feeders and hundreds of birds, I am refilling them every few days.
Some of my birds were so well-fed last summer that they had little pot bellies. LOL
The hummer I saw playing/bathing in the sprinklers yesterday had quite the tummy too, maybe the same one who buzzed by today. I realized not enough white sugar on hand, must go to the store....later.
I need an ask me about my grandchild T-shirt.
JustAmy has always worked hard to pull a lot of folks together to make this a good place to hang out.
I wish I still had as much time as I used to have to hang around.
Maybe soon.
Thank you kind sir.
I am looking forward to you having more time .... I can always use new material.
