That is lovely. You can do the spelling corrections but a lot of work.

If you have the PP program,... Save the “offending slide”.. correct it in your photo editing program. May have to “paint” over all the words & reenter with correct spelling. Save the pix & replace.

I have done that before in various presentations..

The only spelling error I noted was sel.. rather than cell.. but I am not the best for being a grammar or spelling cop

A wonderful collection of quotations, Amy—even dreamy.

So what am I dreaming of? An oatmeal cookie. LOL!

To the tune of Jolene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLmGabSz9vc&feature=related

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
I’m begging you to please stick with the plan

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
Don’t be a maverick just because you can.

You’re riding on your straight-talk bus
but you’re not talking straight with us
and we have grown to dislike you.... McCain

You pander to the Democrats
but we’re supposed to grin at that
just hold our nose and vote for you.... McCain

While you are reaching cross the isle
they are spewing lots of bile
nothing kind they say of you.... McCain

But if we point out any fault
you will quickly call a halt
and tell us we are out of touch.... McCain

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
I’m begging you to please stick with the plan

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
Don’t be a maverick just because you can.

You could easily win this race,
if you don’t offend the base,
just throw a morsel to the right... McCain

But I really don’t think that,
you can win with Democrats,
because too few will vote for you... McCain

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
I’m begging you to please stick with the plan

McCain.... McCain..... McCain..... Mac Cain
Don’t be a maverick just because you can.

LOL

An oatmeal cookie with a cup of coffee sounds perfect!

I’ve had the Corvette Graphic for awhile but could not find a poem that fit. Then decided if we are going to dream of a Corvette convertible, we might as well dream of lots of stuff. :)

Good morning, Yorkie.

Those Oatmeal Cookies look scrumptious!!
I won't have time to bake today;
when I go to Costco later, I plan to buy a couple of dozen.

I have seen that one about our brains and how we keep everything in little boxes - my problem is that I keep losing the boxes.

Yes that is beautiful music yorkie - a good friend of mine introduced me to that little piece.

I too wish they had named some of the places, but even as a visitor you see all these monumental buildings and never know their names At least I never do unless it is the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower. I have been to Paris and can attest that it is a beautiful city.

I can change anything if it is originally in PowerPoint but being a PDF which I am not able to extract the photos except by screen capture it does make it more difficult to correct anything. Although, it wasn´t that important only two errors. Sel as you say and beautiful with two LLs.

I have put you on my ping list for Presentations.

Best Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and ground cinnamon. Add the rolled oats and continue stirring until combined. NOTE: If you are adding nuts, raisins, or chips, add them now.

Place round tablespoons of dough on prepared cookie sheets. The mounds of dough should be no larger than a walnut. Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until light brown and bottoms are golden (cookies should not get brown). Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.

Yields 3 dozen cookies

Happy "National Oatmeal Cookie Day!"
