Yes, he sure is growing fast and is feathering out nicely. (I call him a "he", but he could be a "she". It's impossible to tell, even when they become an adult. The males and females are colored the same).
I think Sweet Baby Jay takes after his mom......or, this could be his dad. LOL. Whichever parent this is, they are looking a little frazzled, I think. ;-)
Yes, a bit frazzled I’d say! ‘His/her featheres are ruffled’..
You know the feeling when you bring that new baby home from the hospital~~LOL~~! I believe the parents of your baby bird got on their child and said “You get in that nest and stay there until I permit you out again”. I would love to know how the little things communicate and they sure do that! We do not have those birds here at all. We do have many regular bluejays. They are beautiful and real fighters though! And they love peanuts just like your Scrub Jays! Guess you’ve heard through the grapevine I am having computer problems!
So funny and so cute. If I had a ladybug on my nose, I would look like that too!
Me, too. I’d look like that . . . if I wasn’t sleeping.
LOL
That cat is precious!!
I don’t really know what our cat eats. He found more baby birds today ... probably from the same nest as he found yesterday. I’ll bet he ate all of them. Poor MamaBird.
Sleeping?? Think I will be getting ready for that pretty soon now! Get coffee fixed, check doors, and go up to bed I guess. Have dr.’s appt. tomorrow...always hate to start days off like that! Good night, L.J.!!
Ya like those flashbulb eyes, huh?
LOL
I will try the red eye repair when I feel like messing with this software. If I can’t get them corrected he will stay the Mountaineer Cat.
Yes, I remember it well. LOL. Nothing prepares you for it.
I sure hope your computer problems straighten out, jaycee. I've been there and done that and it's no fun, for sure.
Yeah, you probably don’t want to know what he eats.
Pinging you to current pictures of Mr Mittens.
I posted them earlier and forgot to give you a ping.
Awwwww......cute. He really looks like a very healthy cat. Nice to see since he was so sick when you first brought him home.
Just beautiful! Thanks! Pandy
WOW! What are those—condos? I could live there! LOL
.
HAHAHA...
That is our former governor for sure.
The writers of the Old and New Testaments used many different metaphors for the Lord Jesus Christ. These word pictures vividly describe the marvelous aspects of Jesus' life and ministry.
While visiting a friend, hymnwriter Albert Simpson Reitz saw the following motto hanging on a wall: "The Lamb Is My Shepherd." How foolish, he thought. Then he realized that a smudge on his glasses had distorted the second word of the motto. Actually it read: "The Lord Is My Shepherd."
His mistake started him thinking. He remembered that the Scriptures present Jesus both as the Good Shepherd and as the Lamb of God. Reitz said to his friend, "I've just seen the glorious gospel of our Lord in a new light. I'm reminded that the apostle John on the island of Patmos saw a vision, assuring him that the resurrected 'Lamb who is in the midst of the throne' will guide His people even when they get to heaven. Misreading that motto on your wall has given me a rich blessing. It could actually read, 'The Lamb Is My Shepherd.'"
It's reassuring to know that our Shepherd will guide us safely through this life, and that He will continue to feed and lead us throughout eternity.
