I Saw a Beautiful Red Cardinal and his Wife a Few Minutes Ago, and Wanted to Snap their Pic, but they Quickly Flew Off before I could Grab my Camera, Lol. Awwwww.......that's a shame.
The only reason I got my scrub jay to pose so nicely is because she was waiting patiently for a peanut.
I would guess I have five pounds of peanuts buried in my yard at this point. LOL. I rarely see them eating them, but they love to bury them in the grass "for later".

Bury the peanuts? LOL
You may start seeing peanut bushes popping up everywhere next spring. The Carters would be so jealous. ;-)

That is a wonderful, wonderful picture! You’ve got yourself a great camera. I was going to buy a new camera but I was going to try to stay around $130.00. Of course, I have no idea the price of cameras and very inexperienced at using a digital one and don’t know much about prices.
YOU DID GOOD! The bird did good, too!

Kitty, I love that darling dog! She is absolutely precious! How lucky you are to have found her and how lucky she is that she found you two! Thats a dog to love, for sure, and I am so happy for you! Keep letting us see her!

Mama Bear, I got up earlier today but am just as behinder on the forum. I got caught up on another waste-of-time thread, oh well.
I can only imagine how you felt and feel about the accident with the bicyclist. (((Hugs)))
Everyone on the road needs to think of all the possibilities. So, since it is legal here in CA to turn right on a red light if the way is clear of traffic and pedestrians, then a bicyclist speeding through the green light AGAINST traffic flow is blind-siding you. The cyclist is not thinking of the possibilities, and I have seen this here.
I am SO glad also that no one was hurt.

Sweet Baby Jay... sounds like a blues singer, lol.
Well, they are blue and they do sing:)

OHHHHHHH, there she is!!! Love at first sight, I can see why!! You are blessed, Kitty Mittens, you and your Husband are blessed that sweet Doggie chose YOU to befriend and live with. She is ADORABLE!!

Yorkie, I think we are looking at the final changes of format for FR but don’t know for certain. This is why I do not use the brief form of pings. It helps some, but I do still get confused about where I’ve been or what to respond to.

Hey everybody, I am going out to take care of things this afternoon. Have fun and I’ll check in maybe later this evening.

It is shaping up as a glorious day today here, too!

Sweet Baby Jay... sounds like a blues singer, lol. Well, they are blue and they do sing:) That's right! Actually, I just recently bought some "Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce" and I think that's what gave me the idea. LOL.
I need to get some housecleaning done. I'd much rather stay here and play. I don't want to get behind again!! :-(

A little boy walks home from the park. after a long day of play when he looks up at the sky and watches the clouds go by, He wondered what lies behind the clouds and past the sky? Maybe there are other things somewhere out there looking up at the sky and wondering the same things
As he walked home from the park. after a long day of play he looked at a bug crawling in the grass and wondered How does the world look to the bug? What is it thinking right now? He thought it might be thinking of how many big creatures there were and what life would be for it if it were as big as the wierd creatures it saw
As he walked home from the park. after a long day of play He looked at a bird and wondered What does that bird feel when it is flying so high in the air? How does it see the world around it? Then he imagined himself being able to fly high, being able to see so much.
As he walked home from the park. After a long day of play He looked at a snail and wondered Why does that snail move so slow? And why it has to carry it's home on it's back? He imagined how life would life would be for him if he went as the snail He would be late for everything and he imagined how it would feel to have to carry his house with him every where.
when he got home he told his parents all of the things he had been thinking about then he had dinner and he and his parents went to bed But while his parents lay there in bed they to began to wonder.
