Thank you. I sure wish I could share the one I made of the little ones being fed. I may try to take another one and see if it comes out better. It’s just so dark inside the Oleander where the nest is and, even though the parent birds aren’t afraid of me, I don’t want to get too close to their babies. If I get any more good videos, I will ping you. :-)

Lori, thanks for all the good updates! I will check out your video link in a few! Glad to get a link to Jim's thread....been wondering how he is doing. We will all remember the little doggies that need prayer also as they are all so precious! I posted this on the Finest a few minutes ago and am sending it to you because its so sweet, just like you!

I've been taking tons of still shots of my jay family and have had to restrain myself from posting them all here. Seen one baby scrub jay, you've seen the all, right? LOL. But, I have to share this one that I took a few minutes ago. Looks to me like there is only one baby in the nest, but there could be more. I am happy to see that this one is feathering out nicely and looking happy and healthy.

BTW, mama jay took exception to my being so close to her nest and let me know by buzzing me and nearly landing on my head. Even though they know me and are fairly tame, they are still wild things and do not want anyone approaching their nest. I think I will stay further back from now on.

I have an appointment I need to get to. I'll be back later. Have a wonderful day, y'all.

LOL! That is hilarious! What a great find. I will agree with the management skills part, but I certainly don't think they are "nicer". Dave Barry must have never met up with the democrats I know. LOL
