nope I don’t assume that everyone writes like NnB or CG, I know everyone writes differantly and from the heart
I have collected Daffy Duck for many years. It is now hard to find anything “Daffy”, except at yard/garage sales.
I had a shelf in my kitchen (up really high) with hundreds of different Daffy Ducks. Every birthday and Christmas I got Daffys.
But, when I gave my kitchen a face lift, two years ago - the orange and black just didn’t fit anymore. Down came the shelf, and all the Daffys are resting in boxes in my garage. I hope they are happy. ;-)
JC, that is one of the most beautiful rose paintings I have ever seen! Thank you!
LOL
Good morning, Fewz.
I enjoyed reading The Ballad of William Sic-’er-Moe. Thank you for sharing it.

.
LOL
Well there you are. I missed you.
When I log on in the morning I expect to be greeted by you and the Mayor. * grin *
My inbox was only half full this morning.
Yes, Amy, I wished I had something that beautiful in my flower garden. I have never tried to grow roses....I think they are hard to deal with but I had a friend and neighbor who grew the most beautiful roses I have ever seen but she was doing something to them all the time. I do well with what flowers I do have just with keeping weeds out.
The more birds I have in my yard, the more weeds I have. I think the seed plants a few weeds~~LOL~~After I get them under control by pulling the largest and spraying the rest, I don’t have too many more but enough to keep me busy!
That is the positive way to look at it. A negative person would complain it was 'half empty' - or like me, whine that I only had three pings. Sniff.
OESY, your sweet poem totally destroyed any appetite I may have had......LOL! I probably should print it out, and put it on my fridge, along with the photo-shopped picture of Rosie O'Donnell, with the hairy back. Pounds would drop off!
Your rose painting is just lovely, jaycee..
Oh how I hate turning winter muscles into summer muscles..Groan!
I just did my huge storin’ up for floods, famines or blizzards grocery shopping..The heating pad is now in service.-Oh my achin’ back.
Thanks Meg!
I was outside only 1 hour and it nearly killed me. My calf muscles, my back, and I took 1 Aleve before I got started. I may take another. I think because I haven’t felt well that everything wears me out quicker. When I feel a little better I am going to get back on my treadmill. My doctor’s asst. called and said my blood was okay and I told her to tell him that “I was still dragging.” She said give time for that medicine to get out of my system. Thats all I can do. I will be away for a while...gonna get my hair done...she made a booboo last week when she cut it (on the right side).I can work with it but it upsets me. Thats a small problem though!
Oesy, I got a few of those in an email today....if I find any different ones (they were unique) I will post later....gotta get going now! Have a great day.....
I collect chickens .... one of these days I may need to pack them away. ;- (
Collecting is fun. I would always try to pick up a chicken whenever we went on vacation.
I’m sure your Daffys are happy in the garage. Pick up a Bugs to keep them company.
:(
I can’t find any cheeseball graphics.
I may have to post some Daffy ones.
I limit myself to one hour at a time..I may work in smaller doses if it is very hot..I know my limits..and learned them the hard way with long lasting back pain...That pain, of course, leaves me unable to do any yard work so I rarely overdo.
My yard is small and simple though I do have an unending “yard” in back to the ravine..I just weed whack ground cover to where the slope begins.Pruning is my hardest job...
I've heard it said by many around,
That the moon is made of cheese they found.
It's mined by little spacemen mice,
Who sell it for a handsome price.
The cheese we eat all comes from there,
From cheddar valleys beyond compare.
And in the rivers of Wensleydale,
The mice scoop cheese in metal pails.
If you peek up you might just see,
The Gorgonzola heights of Ghee.
And to the left and up a bit,
On Stilton mountains mice do sit.
So next time you sit down to cheese,
Remember the mice on Parmezan seas.
Who work non stop in their spacemen hats,
Just glad that they're out of reach of cats!
