Ping #1140 Amy´s Place
**Blackbeard’s old stomping grounds**
They just found/id’d the remains of Blackbeard’s ship, the Queen Anne’s revenge a couple years ago. It’s been fascinating keeping track of what they bring up. It’s in fairlyu shallow water, but the sand moves quite a bit here, esp in the inlets.
Haven’t had time or energy to check out your nc thread but I will! I love living near the ocean, even though I seldom make it to the beach. By water, we’re about 2 miles from the ocean. If you drive around, by the time you hit the bridges, it’s about 25. LOL
Too funny!
When my daughter was a toddler, her favorite phrase was “Do it meself!”
Picture this—here’s this little sprite of a baby girl, white blond hair and blue, blue eyes, weighs about 25 pounds—she wouldn’t just say that, she had this whole stance thing. She’d brace her feet, throw one hand out palm up, one hand on her hip and say, “Stop. Do it meself!” It got her in trouble more than once, and we got a lot of laughs out of it, still do!
Hi again, OESY and darksheare .....
Want to try Haiku again?
A strong-willed child can cause laughs and extra work.
Marissa stills says ... “If I don’t try, I will never learn!”
Lots of things I don’t want her to try and learn. ;^ )
I probably need to either close some windows or power down. I can’t get any of the links to open. :^(
You do have PowerPoint or the Reader I assume - I am not having any problem. You have to allocated PPT, PPS file types to the PowerPoint Reader
Amy, if you are using Internet Explorer, when you can’t open a link, put your arrow over the link and right click and a box will come up. Then click ‘open’, and the link will open. IE has been giving me trouble with links for some time now.
That is why I have been using Firefox Mozilla, instead of IE.
Thank you yorkie I do not have that trouble but you can help Amy better than I can as you have the reader and I don´t.
You could read the links OK?
I am using Vista. grrrr
I finally opened the links by right clicking and opening in a new window.
Frustration causes
shot nerves and
trembling hands
LOL
I know, I know .... it doesn’t follow the rules. ;^ )
Great, it is 2am here. I will be calling it a day. Remember to right click to make it full screen if it does not come up full screen. Forget about the Instructions just play the one with Music.
Selling tons of plants
smiling at all customers
gritting my teeth lots
How’s that? LOL
Jessa informed me when she was about 15 months—no more diapers!
I said, ok, that’s fine during the day. It took 3 adults to get a diaper on her for bed that night. I gave in and she never wet the bed, never wet her pants. LOL
Can anyone tell me if they have seen the Haiku Corner Presentation before I go to bed?
Selling tons of plants
smiling at all customers
gritting my teeth lots
Buying lots of plants
planting them will surely please
with pretty flowers
next ....
I saw the presentation.
It was very good.
Marissa was very hard to potty train. She was and still is very stubborn. You could leave her on the chair all day and she would not go. She just taught herself when she was ready.
I did not view, still need to install Power Point. I just enjoyed one of your slide shows from your homepage, though, a trip along the coast to Caruna (sorry, I don’t have a tilda). Muy bien y muchas gracias. Please come back, don’t be an estranjero at Amy’s Place:)
Hi, Amy and all, it was bloody hot here (SoCal) today.... 90F at 3:00 p.m., don’t know what the high was.
