I get them on a CD. I took some during the first nesting, and only one came out. Here is "Junior," my first hummingbird grand-baby:)

Oh my goodness, you did have a good view. That is a good photo! What a precious little bird that is. I hope your photos of the second nesting came out and that you will post them. Be sure to ping me if you do. :-)

STS-1: First Shuttle Launch
Credit: KSC, NASA
On April 12, 1981, twenty-seven years ago today, the Space Shuttle Columbia became the first shuttle to orbit the Earth. In this time exposure, flood lights play on the Columbia and service structures (left) as it rests atop Complex 39's Pad A at Kennedy Space Center in preparation for first launch. Flown by Commander John W. Young and Pilot Robert L. Crippen, Columbia spent 2 days aloft on its check-out mission, STS-1, which ended in a smooth landing, airplane-style, at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Ferried back to Kennedy by a modified Boeing 747, Columbia was launched again seven months later on STS-2, becoming the first piloted reuseable orbiter. The oldest operating shuttle, Columbia's 1981 debut was followed by shuttles Challenger in 1982 (destroyed in 1986), Discovery in 1983, Atlantis in 1985, and Challenger's replacement Endeavour in 1991. This shuttle fleet has now accomplished over 100 orbital missions.

I don’t think I ever added pudding to mine, either - but every link I read had pudding mix in it.

What Did He Say?
Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. Jeremiah 15:16
Because our son Steve spent most of his teen years connected to a cell phone, it was a bit of a shock for us when we couldn't talk with him for long periods of time after he joined the US Navy. First at boot camp and later while he trained as a hospital corpsman, we endured long periods of time without any communication. So it was a treat whenever we finally did hear from him.
After one of us would get his call, the first question from the other was always, "What did he say?" We hung on every word to hear how he was doing, what he was thinking, and what the Navy was planning for him.
It's natural to respond like this to the words of those who are important to us. We eagerly anticipate hearing from them.
Are we like that with the Word of God? Are we eager to communicate with Himto look carefully into His Book to ask, "What did He say?" Unlike the infrequent calls from a son in the military, God's words of encouragement and guidance are always available to us. We just have to listen.
The prophet Jeremiah prayed, "Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart" (Jer. 15:16). Do you have that same longing to hear God speak to you through His Word?
Thy Word is a lamp to my feet,
A light to my path alway
To guide and to save me from sin
And show me the heavenly way. Anon.

Thank you for opening the doors this morning, OESY.
The day started busy .... that's what happens when you ask your child for help with something. He says "Okay, let's get started".
Someday I will learn to wait until I finished what I Want to do first. ;^ )

Ill Do It Myself!
Some things that you just have to do, you have to do yourself,
Like working on a ladder, or putting up a shelf.
Oh, you can try to find someone, but in the end youll see,
If someones gonna screw things up, it might as well be me!
Cause I can move a ladder, and I can climb on it,
And then I can go down again, for things that I forgit.
I used to do my painting, dipping brushes in a bucket,
After I tired of all the climbs, the next trip up I tuck it.
I took the paint can up with me, but then I couldnt put it down,
Thats why that corner of the carpet is a matching shade of brown.
And after all my troubles using hammers and those nails,
I figured out that screws will give support that never fails.
Thats why when I needed something put up good and tight,
I bought a box of screws so I could do it all just right.
So last night I held up the thing and grabbed the screws Id got....
Who is this guy Phillips? ...And what happened to the slot?

Good afternoon, Yorkie. We are having a very relaxing Saturday. Marissa is watching “Jungle Book”. As you can tell, I’m doing nothing. ;^ )
Thank you for posting “Licorice Sky”. It is lovely.
It looks like my Licorice image was pulled and replaced with an ad.

Someday I will learn to wait until I finished what I Want to do first. ;^ ) A good philosophy to have--not that it works for me most of the time.

It could be a good philosophy for me if I would adopt it.
When our son comes to visit on the weekends, I always have several things I would like some help with. Hope he never decides to quit coming. ;^ )

The Rosebud
~ Rose Moss ~
Fairest flower, lovely rose
Queen of a Summers Day :
Velvet petals, crimson hued,
Such beauty takes my breath away.
I pluck the rosebud, grasp it tight,
Then cry aloud in pain.
The thorns are sharp, their bite is keen,
I fling it down again.
Then I muse, such too is life,
Where joy and pain combine:
Sun and shadow, side by side,
As light and dark entwine.
I cannot throw the bud away,
Although it caused me pain.
This time Ill hold it tenderly
And take it up again.
Ill cherish my sweet rosebud more
For showing me today:
Life can be harsh or can be sweet
So grasp it while you may.
