OH NO! The torch!! Media is sorely disappointed that there were no riots in S.F.
I know - I can’t believe they pulled that off without any of the media or protesters knowing.
At one point today I thought they would bring it by Coast Guard boat to the waterfront. Just then DH called to say that there was a jumper at the bridge.
I saw some of the protests on TV--LOL! It's like the crowd couldn't figure out exactly what they were protesting.
There were anti-Iraq signs, anti-Bush signs, peace signs, "go green" signs. Only occasionally did I see a "boycott China" or "free Tibet" sign.
