Well, thats what TMZ is reporting. ;)Oh, I believe you Miss Didi (dang, sometimes it's hard to post w/o sounding confrontational or contrary). It just sounds strange. If that's their idea of comedy, well, looks like the ratings will be down even further after that!
To: Lijahsbubbe
I liked School of Rock, too. I'm just not sure what a bunch of actors bring to the finale of a singing competition.
I sometimes wonder if they are deliberately trying to sabotage the show.

Shallow Hal was a great movie. :)
I went and saw Baby Mama last weekend and it was pretty darn good. Better than I expected.

LOL! Great story! I would love to have that happen to me.
The most famous people I ever met: a rock band (no, not at their hotel), a pro football player, and a senator (if you can count those)
No big celebs. :(
To: Miss Didi
Didn’t you recognize his name?

I sometimes wonder if they are deliberately trying to sabotage the show. It sure seems that way sometimes, doesn't it? The question is, will Paula even know when it's over?
To: Lijahsbubbe
What rock band and what football player?

I just noticed that we’re getting near the 10,000th post again.
Looks like you are in the running!

I haven’t met anyone famous really. I saw Blackhawks (now Buffalo Sabres back up) goalie Jocelyn Theibault at the grocery store once. I ran into the band The Bodeans in an elevator. Dan Quayle and Bill Clinton came to my high school to speak (separately! LOL) my senior year.
My grandpa has an Oscar for a technical category. He’s got all kinds of great stories. A couple of years ago he went to some party that Wolfgang Puck was the chef. I guess he likes to come out and greet the guests. So, my grandpa got to say a quick hello. The same group had another party maybe a month later and he went again. Again, Wolfgang comes out and greets the guests and this time, sees my grandpa and gives him a big, “Hello! Great to see you again!” and warmly shakes his hand.
Now, my grandpa was at the peak of his career in the 50’s and 60’s, so he met some of the all-time Hollywood greats. But he was totally start struck my Wolfgang Puck! LOL!! He called my mom and said, “He remembered me!! They are having another party next month. I wonder if he will remember me again?” He cracks us up.

ROFL! That prizefighter metaphor got old fast! Where in the world would you have an effeminate featherweight 100 lb. weakling up against a well-built macho 175 lb. middleweight? It was ludicrous. They should fire all their writers.

Oh. You didn’t read the article that you linked and posted a pic for. That explains your ‘confusion’.

Remember that song “Come and Get Your Love”, by Redbone? It was their first and only hit. A Native American band. The football player was a Minnesota Viking, Ron Yary.

Will Stiller, Black, and Downey dress in drag?
This is too bizarre. I think I won’t tune in for the first hour, and maybe only the second half of the second hour.
As someone said earlier, why don’t they just announce the winner like they announce the winning LOTTO numbers? It takes about 30 seconds.

I think Simon dislike Jennifer because he considered her fat. His dislike of overweight women is obvious. His girlfriend is painfully thin. Shes not that pretty in my opinion and her voice is ghastly.Agreed. Plus Terri (that's her name, I think) puts up with Simon's obvious -- how should I put it -- eccentricities.

I had gone to a strip club with friends, then went back 6 months later with my mother and sister. One of the strippers remembered me. Is that a bad thing? *chuckle*
