Simon could not hide his utter shock. I had just finished saying Simon can NOT be liking this when they showed his face. I can't imagine why he wouldn't have liked it. Isn't that what he wanted? Modern. Contemporary.

(SECURE THE BORDERS FIRST (I'M YELLING ON PURPOSE))
You know, just before they did the results, I realized something I probably already knew, but it came into focus:
David Archuleta is the only one who needs to win the competition.
David Cook has, I believe, now established himself well enough that he will have at least a moderate success regardless of his AI finish position. Syesha, who is more of an actress who can sing than a singer, will likely find a home on Broadway or in Hollywood doing musicals.
But "Monchichi"? His entire "selling point" is that he's supposedly this adorable kid that the teen and "tween" girls simply love to pieces. It certainly isn't for his stage performance or his technical skills. But if he does not win the AI competition, that blows a hole in the mystique which I doubt he'll recover from.

But if he does not win the AI competition, that blows a hole in the mystique which I doubt he'll recover from. I think he'll recover. It's his father that they will have to put on suicide watch. David can always get a job as a lounge singer or cruise ship singer, if he really wants to, but these jobs won't pull in the money to support his father in the manner that his father is hoping for. jmo

That link never did work for me, but I noticed another one at you tube so I watched that one. I think the funniest part of Simon's reaction was how he didn't move or change his facial expression, BUT, he moved his eyes sideways, like he wanted to see Paula and Randy's reactions, without being obvious. Hilarious.
Another humorous aspect is that video will get a ton of views but for all the wrong reasons. To laugh at her and Simon's reactions!

Hilarious. When the camera switched to a wide-shot of all three judges--LOL--it was like none of them knew how to react to Fantasia. They looked stunned. Paula was smiling, but that was probably because she was distracted by the orange hair :)

I take a ton of vitamins, but so does my mom and she’s a mosquito magnet. I read an article here on FR a year or two ago that said that scientists are looking into a certain protein or amino acid (I forget which) that some people have an excess of as the possible reason mosquitoes don’t bite them.
At first I thought it was a stupid thing for scientists to study, until I realized it could help stop things like malaria from spreading.

Speaking of crawly critters, I discovered a great tip for catching spiders ~
Save your long cardboard tubes. They’re good for trapping spiders on the ceiling or high up on a wall. Just trap and tap into the toilet and flush (or take outside.) Their stubborn little web-thread will try to cling to the tube, but the power of the flush will win. “;^)
