And what if I did? I don't care for Syesha and would love a Jason/David/David show. Last I checked, we were all are entitled to our Idol opinions on this thread.

I never said that you were not entitled to your opinion. NOT ONCE, EVER!

I for one believe in the conservative value of rewarding someone that worked hard instead of adopting the liberal stance of going squishy and rewarding someone that didn't try as hard because well, its for the chil'run and he meant to.

Don't tell me who to talk like! Just because some one has a different opinion then you, you jump all over them? Oh go cry to your mom. "Someone on the internet doesn't like me!" Waaa!

Spot on imitation!! LMAO

It's long past time for Jason to leave. The quality of his voice and singing ability is far inferior to the other three. As I indicated in previous weeks, he is incapable of going to higher octaves. The first illustration was a couple of weeks ago when he sang a safe version of Over the Rainbow, leaving off the high notes at the end of various lines. Lastly, he doesn't have much power and can't belt a song. So he is weak compared to the remaining three. Of course, there is the teenie bop vote and those here who want him to sing at their picnic (see previous week's comments).

Shy is doing okay, but sometimes she yells out the song instead of having the range of Whitney (when she could) or Mariah. May be too high of a standard. She has a couple of good stage perfromances and a couple of ballads. At times her high range gets a little tinny and she loses some oomph at the high level like on Rollin last night. May have a career on stage and live performances.

I put Archuleta second because I don't think he has the range that Cook has. DA loses power on strong songs, witness Comin to America. He was out of his league on that song, because he can't belt well. He has good pitch and can wow on ballads and some rock songs like this week. Going out on a limb here but DA has a flat affect. May just be shyness when being interviewed or judges, but he has been on the stage a few years now and should be out of the shell. If it's not an act, I'm looking to strong parental domination or worse as he has grown up. Seems 17 going on 13.

If I had one contract to let, I would sign Cook. Great range, great arrangements, good with the guitar. He will write some of his own music and can solo or lead a band. Let's get it over with.

The poster didn’t know what “Baba O’Reily” was so we all told her to think “Teenage Wasteland.”

Ahhh, Gotcha. All I know is I've been correcting the younger generation of this fact four decades.

And being 29, that's hard to do! ;-)

So I guess I’m just a big Lib when it comes to Idol. (rolling eyes)

How he even made it to the top 4 is a mystery.

I'm sure Jason can't even believe it. Maybe that's why he doesn't seem to care. He knows he doesn't have a shot and probably can't believe he made it this far!

I've been in a bad mood all day over the Jason trashing...so over the top in their dislike for the kid.

Why do they trash him so much? I don't think he should be in the top four, but he's very likeable and seems like a nice kid.

Jason reaching the top four is an illustration of why the founders didn’t want a pure democracy.

You don’t get it. We don’t hate the guy, we just want the best singers to get recognized. He’s 2-3 weeks over due.

They have been trashing him for weeks...in various interviews I have heard of Simon he has said that the finale would be the Davids and “maybe that Jason guy”...I believe in the Larry King appearance, he said he didn’t care for Jason. Jason threatens the great scheme—the producers want the battle of the Davids. But the sweet kid in dreads, with a huge fan base, was very appealing and messed up their plan—so every week they throw him under the bus. I believe that they sent Brooke home before him to not appear too obvious after Paula’s big gaffe.

Says who? And what if I like his way of singing? There are a lot of Jason fans out there...I guess we all “don’t get it.”

Jason’s really the best singer and everyone is just picking on him. I think Shy is having an affair with Simon and Paula is doing the two Davids, so there’s a conspircay against the odd man out.

after Paula’s big gaffe.

Paula has a big gaffe? Ew.

But seriously, what was the gaffe? I must've not seen that show.

Well, you listed some of the say’s who’s above. Since it includes a serious judge, you might stop a minute and listen. When I asked you about singing ability before, your answer was not on point. So perhaps it’s you and not “They.”

You can buy the Black Dahlia house — I think it’s for sale. Ew.

That book is creepy with a capital K. The guy that wrote it is very nice, though, and he answers all his email. I feel for him; that had to have been a gruesome discovery about “Daddy.”

The house is also in that recent movie about Howard Hughes starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s a cool house, but the vibe in there must be sickening.

Is there a true crime list on FR, or do we all just find ourselves on whatever thread is discussing the latest case, like Laci Peterson or Chandra Levy?

Hi Jonny. The suspense is killing me (she says, laughing). Will there be a shocker tonight? Since I'm not in the mood to get up and pace, I'll let Felix do it for me.

Looks like it's time for the rat pack to make an appearance! The pack says Jason is one cool cat! Maybe not as hip as Daivd "Danke Shoen" Archuletta but still....
