I wanna be Marilyn! I will also accept the role of Mia Farrow, though I am NOT messin’ with Woody Allen later.

Can ya sing me 'Happy Birthday Mister President,' baby?

Any song spoilers out there for tonight’s show??

I’ve only heard rumors of Dreadlock Boy singing “I Shot the Sheriff” and “Mr. Tambourine Man”...

Not yet...will keep you posted. Theme is songs that inspired rock & roll. The only thing I read about “I Shot the Sheriff” was that a poster would cry if he sang it!

Yes, you're right...from MJ:

Joan just posted her first clue for Jason Castro over at Popwatch:

Jason’s a man on a mission. With one arm that fires, authorities fall, but their counterparts are spared. With the other arm, he jingles his tympan all the way to victory.

Jason Castro - ”I Shot the Sherrif” by Bob Marley/Eric Clapton and “Mr. Tambourine Man” By Bob Dylan.

Rumor-mill has Monchichi singing:

“Bridge Over Troubled Water”
“Stand By Me”

Only about 50% confidence level on these.

How fitting...songs with messages. Are you on Popwatch? Apparently there are impostors out there, too. (rolling eyes)

From MJ:

David Archuleta - “Stand By Me” By Ben E. King and “Love Me Tender” (Norah Jones version) - this has turned into a pretty pervasive rumor with supposed reliable source, but I can’t vouch for it.

Hi Frank. I was still a teenager at the height of the Rat Pack, and my mom was in rapid decline from booze and pills, but I'm glad to be an honorary member. ;-)

LMAO!!!

OK...I can kind of see Mr. Tambourine Man, but I Shot The Sheriff?? The entire time I'm going to think of that guy who sang it at auditions a couple of seasons ago.

Dreads may pull it off if he sings the Bob Marley version, calypso-style.

Possibly, but it's such a dumb song. I'm sort of biased against anything remotely resembling reggae. I can take a little Bob Marley here and there ("Redemption Song" and I think it's called, "Three Birds" don't make me want to gouge out my ear drums), but 99% of it I despise. I'd rather listen to New Age/day spa music.

Maybe it's memories of drunken idiots in college (I swear they issue you Bob Marley's greatest hits with your acceptance letter) dancing around like morons to "No Woman, No Cry" that turned me off reggae forever. Gee, I can't figure out why you don't have a woman. You're 40 pounds overweight, your dorm/frat room/apt. smells like Fritos (though you swear you haven't had any all semester), you've got a cigarette hanging out of your mouth that may or may not have been lit at some point, but now is broken in half with the tobacco hanging on for dear life, you're sweating like a mofo, you can't completely open your eyes, the only word you've said in the last 2 hours has been, "WOOO!!" shouted at random intervals, you refer to your half-empty bottle of Jack Daniel's as "My Bah bah", you've got some odd yellowish stain that goes from the neck of your shirt to the top of your pants that we all PRAY is some kind of booze and now you're out on the dance floor swaying back and forth with your hands over your head to stupidest song every recorded.

Yeah, that no woman thing is quite a mystery.

Didi, do you cry when you read Hallmark cards? Yes? We are probably, then, twins separated at birth. I cry before the hat even drops.
