To: no more apples
APPLES! :)He only seems to really shine on the Queen songs.
Yeah. And I didn't think he was as great as the judges believed.

Mrs. Lobsta and I were discussing this at length yesterday. Kristi was fantastic, and looks completely stunning.
To: rock_lobsta
her drive and attention to detail make the real differenceI agree with you. She is wonderful. I am just saying that the voting may not always be with her.
To: rock_lobsta
Couldnt bear to hear more socially-conscious crap from Monchichi. You're just not "down for the struggle".

:)

Absolutely...Simon is the equivalent of a british conservative. He loves America...he can't stand hippies. He doesn't voice his political views much, but that is a fact. I would go as far as to say Simon purposely said that aboout that Greenwood song just to piss of an American hating hippies.
Seriously.
I yall think Simon is a hollywierd libtard then you are dead wrong.
for real

Oh, you’re funny....
Ya know, I wonder if papa monchichi will let junior actually choose a song.
BTW - Cook is overtaking monchichi on dial idol.
To: Lil'freeper
Either that or he realizes he can't criticize the song without sounding anti-American. Might be what he meant by "clever song choice".You nailed it.

Completely unrelated, but you heard it here first.
There's a rumor around that one of the AI finalists is pregnant.
Anyone want to guess?
To: rock_lobsta
Perhaps that would explain the unfortunate blouses.

To: rock_lobsta
Either that, or she’s hitting the buffet - hard.
To: Miss Didi
What’s funny is Mrs. Lobsta said the same thing during her song.
To: isthisnickcool
I’m thinking her and Mario in the finals.
To: rock_lobsta
Hmmm. Perhaps that is why she was in the bathroom directly before her song. If that’s the case, I SOOO can empathize with her. My first 4 1/2 months with my first were horrible. But in a very good way. ;^)

So re Chris Cornell - are you a fan or did you pick up that tidbit elsewhere. Is the guy worth checking out? I'm a fan :) I have the album.
I wasn't a fan until I saw Casino Royale. Cornell performed (and I think wrote) the title song "You Know My Name". I had to have that song and the MP3 versions available at the time weren't full length. That was only available on his CD--not even the movie soundtrack had the song.
So I bought the CD and that's how I knew about his version of Billie Jean.
I'm listening to it now :)

Just by listening to the lyrics of Billie Jean, that version is sooo much better. It is really a kind of tortured song. Michael Jackson whooping and yipping through it just doesn’t work when you really read the lyrics.
I thought David Cook was amazing. He is fast becoming my favorite.
To: retrokitten
Veeery interesting. Reminds me of the Chris Daughtry, I Walk the Line controversy a few years ago.Yep. And iirc, Daughtry had to explain himself on the following week's show.
I don't know if this will be as big of a deal, but the way the judges reacted we would think that David came up with this version all by himself.
