Simon has flirted with Brooke since the auditions. He has to go some to put her down. I think he’s responsible for saving her last night and once before IIRC.
It really is a sucky song....and the backup singers didn’t help.....she should have gone with her 1st choice.
You're right, RK. Carly wasn't as bad as Jason and Brooke, but she was pretty awful in her own right. Twice she completely got off the timing, beat and melody of the song. The backup singers were on melody and timing, and Carly was off in her own world. That's when she sounded most screechy.
