You and I are in the minority on Jason. I loved the simplicity of his performance tonight. He actually made that schmaltzy old chestnut of a song sound meaningful.

Those should definitely be the bottom three this week.
They were all three overproduced. Who needs another screeching diva like Carly or Syesha?
I don’t know what it is about Michael that gives me the creeps. Maybe his resemblance to Ted Bundy. But aside from his looks, his voice isn’t “all that”. Probably why he’s still seeking stardom at age 29.

I glanced at it, saw what it was and scrolled past it really fast. It was stomach churning. I didnt hit abuse, though. Me either. Had to put my bagel chips and hummus spread away afterwards though.

DWTS is very cool because its unlike any other reality show out there. The work it takes to be as good as it takes to participate is real not fabricated.
I'll admit it... I watch it for the babes.
I skip the articles in Playboy, too.

Thanks to the wonders of YouTube, I'm all caught up. I missed the good parts of the show, but I did manage to catch the singing... And now.....
It's Claw Time, Baybeeeee!
Overall... it's Idol Gives a Guilt Trip week, and we're getting all inspirational and crap. Can the Best. Top. Eight. Ever. Deliver? Well, a few of them did mail it in (again). Read on!
Michael: Wow. Sounded just like Steven Tyler - in 2018 - after the throat cancer sets in...

Screesha: 1 claw deduction for the Mantasia song (AGAIN! grrrrrrrr....) That note at the end - proof positive that Lobstas
CAN feel pain.

Jason: Tiny Tim called - he wants his ukulele back. Gotta give the stoner credit - At least It's a better version than McPheaver's.

Kristy: When she's not forced to sing outside her comfort zone, she's excellent. Sometimes, Randy needs to go pound sand.

Cook:

Did Paula spot hair on Cook's palm? Oh, it was "Give Back." Evidently, David's hand is looking for a little reciprocation...

Carly:

Didn't we ban Queen a few weeks ago?

is not amused...
Monchichi: The kid's voice is golden, he wasn't as annoying playing on the piano - but he just mails it in, song after song. If his singing career doesn't pan out - there's always UPS.

Brooke: Damn, this girl needs her some therapy.

You know where I can get me a therapy license?
And now.... the predictions!
Bottom Three
And the next person to be serenaded by Ruben is..... Carly
will be deeply saddened.

Michael Johns Dream on Steven Tyler-esque.
Syesha Mercado some Fantasia song Ill never understand how Fantasia won. Dont understand how any performance can pale in comparison to Fantasia, unless Gilbert Gottfried was singing. Twas good enough for me.
Jason Castro Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Brother Iz Israel version) nice choice.
Kristy Lee Cook Anyway three weeks in a row with a good song choice for her. Sticking to the niche that works for her.
David Cook - Innocent Our lady Peace isnt my cup of tea, so it figures David C picks this song. Im not feelin it. Now he walks to the judges booth. Contrived. Oh, the scribbled hand message. Even more contrived. His most forgettable performance.
Carly Smithson The Show Must Go On her voice is good, then gets uneven in spots. Simon makes good points in his critique: more angry than inspirational.
David Archuletta Angels (Robbie Williams) Good song choice. On piano. Starts off rough. Got to build to his climax, but I found it uneven overall. Simon: nasally (correct)
Brooke White Youve Got A Friend Another nice, technically sound performance.
This weeks performances
1- Brooke
2- Jason
3- Syesha
4- Kristy Lee
5- Michael
6- David A.
7- Carly
8- David C.
Overall rankings
1- Brooke (n/c)
2- Syesha (n/c)
3- Jason (n/c)
4- Kristy Lee (+4) (who would have thought this three weeks ago?)
5- David A. (+1)
6- Michael (+1)
7- Carly (-3)
8- David C. (-3)
