If you’re going to be lax at least watch the sodium. That water weight will discourage you faster than anything. I think thats why people that do South Beach and cook for themselves and do well, start gaining when they start buying the frozen South Beach dinners. SALT.

I looooooooooove greasy hashbrowns. I am a sucker for all breakfast food. The more smothered in butter, grease, and/or gravy the better.
A few years ago we went to the Mall of America and St. Paul, MN. Our hotel by the mall had an IHOP attached to it. They only way it could have been better is if we actually stayed IN the IHOP. I had biscuits and gravy and sausage 3 of the 4 mornings.
Now it’s abundantly clear to everyone why I had to lose so much weight! LOL!!

I know a lot of it was water retention from salt. I was eating horribly! We have this deli in our office building and almost every day for lunch I would get nachos or soup. Plus, I was eating a lot of take out and frozen food.

IHOP’s pumpkin pancakes are really good. If I recall, they don’t serve haash browns with omeletes though. :(
Their breakfast special is pretty hard to beat though. :)

Every time I start back on Weight Watchers, IHOP comes out with some kind of new pancake special. The first time I started they actually had funnel cakes! Funnel cakes! For breakfast! E-vil!!
It’s like they knew and were trying to suck me back in!

When I was young I couldn’t have sugar cereals, because I was a little on the hyper side (yeah, don’t pretend you are surprised). So, I always had Kix, Chex, Rice Crispies, and Corn Flakes.
But for some reason my mom let me have Cinnamon Toast Crunch when that came out. Even 20+ years later I can’t figure it out. I couldn’t have any sugary cereals, except for this one coated in visible sugar.
I asked my mom about it once and she said, “Yeah. That is sort of weird.” WTH??

I remember trying Cinnamon Toast Crunch when I was a kid. I was no stranger to sugary cereal, but even I thought that was too sweet.

I’m looking at the website and my mouth is watering. Looks like they are only in NC an VA. My company has a big office in Cary, NC.
I’m going to put in for a transfer. ;-)
“But I have to get to Biscuitville!”
