I don’t remember there being so much fanfare for any other AI contestants as there has been for Cookie.

Nigel sounds like he's suffering from the same strain of BDS as the guy that was wringing his hands last week about Cook and what his winning means for Obama's chances in November. They're not in touch with reality at all.

This whole BDS, to me, is just trendy and like all trends, some people have to take it to an extreme to prove they are the most dedicated to the trend. You know what I mean? They all hate the President, but they couldn’t tell you why. They just know everyone else hates him, so they do too. They are the same ones backing Obama- they worship him, but can’t tell you any thing he stands for or any of his platforms.

Plus, they act like everything turned to crap the day President Bush took office. Was Africa some tropical paradise before January 2001? Somehow I don’t think it was.
