I wonder how many of these outbreaks come from the cheap labor used in the packing houses. A lot of them use illegals and those folks don’t understand American hygiene principles. Or maybe they don’t care, or worse. Someone in my raw foods group said they were able to buy almonds direct from the grower. As long as you buy less than 200 lbs, you’re okay. <<<

I sold my goat milk labeled, “For pets only, not for human’s”,
in felt pen on the lids.

LOL, guess my customers were not concerned, as the owner of our [then] Health Food Store came to the house to buy it and knew what she was getting.

I ran into her years later and she thanked me for having supplied good goat milk for her little girls and that they had grown up smart and healthy and were now in college.

I wish I had been aware of that and had fed goat milk to my son. He did not do well on formula (I hate that name :P) so I put him on soy. If I'd known then what I do now, he would have gotten goat milk, absolutely. It sounds wonderful! And goats are sooo cute!
