Me, too. We’ve had way worse thunderstorms this summer than what we got out of Hanna. I hate the way the weathermen blow everything all out of proportion! It’s hard to trust anything they say, even when they have pics.

I wouldn’t have the slightest idea where to buy a cow anymore! LOL Haven’t seen one, other than a few beef cattle some old farmer is using for pasture ornaments, in longer than I can remember. It would cost me more to feed it than I would ever get out of it, milk or beef. Shaking head. :)

Every day they say 20% chance of rain, and it does not.

Then it all comes at once.

If I were thinking of milk, I would buy a goat, its milk is better for you ...

You can feed 6 goats on the amount that it takes to feed one cow.

Even 30 years ago, we had to know someone, who knew someone who had a cow for sale.

Then the real trouble starts, as Mrs. Cow wants to visit with Mr. Bull once a year and they are often fed hot feeds and not worth a darn for making calves.

And if you are a woman, the men will not talk to you about breeding your animals.

I owned a prize winner Nubian Billy Goat with ‘papers’.

Men would call Bill about using him for breeding, his standard answer was “You will have to talk to my wife, it is her goat”, many of them would not.

Arizona is fringe south, you will really have problems.
