So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago!That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. I am SO glad I don't live in Alaska. Ketchikan (where the sun does go down) was bad enough but Tromsø Norway (home of the northernmost Mexican restaurant in the world, above the Arctic Circle), however delightful otherwise, was horrible in this regard.

(I'm tired. Long day in the new cave office but at least I didn't have to deal with the rain-glare, my body clock is *somewhere* between Munich and Seattle, and my brain is worn out after a full day of little but e-mail.)
