So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

It looks like it might be because of your RSS structure.

Puzzling.

Apparently, you can still find it on the home page, and I have it showing on my thread page.

But on the pings page, it has disappeared for me as well.

Not sure what you mean by “RSS structure”...

The picture of roses that grabs me the most is this one:

Photobucket

This was right after the earthquake that flattened the city of Bam in Iran right after Christmas a few years ago. *Everything*, including the historic "mud fortress", was destroyed. It was so bad that the Iranian authorities okayed American (military) relief efforts -- and the man in this picture is delivering roses (the Persians love roses, and I understand that most varieties had their origin in Iran) to Americans.

When I showed it to LoM, way back when, she broke down. The significance escapes us Westerners -- all we see is a man giving a man a rose, with no context involved.

To her it said Iranians love Americans still, whatever the differences between our governments.

Roses are very special to Iranians. And people who had nothing after the earthquake, brought American rescue-workers roses and tea to thank them for coming all the way around the world to help them.

Thanks for the ping sionnsar.

I prefer to rest on Sundays. In other words, outside of church, I don’t go anywhere, and I try never to shop!

And since I try to study the Scriptures every day (don’t always succeed) that’s perfect for “quiet time.” Sunday is usually when I write letters, too.

What works for me does not necessarily work for anyone else!! LOL!

" The catz are hiding"

Possibly they're aware of the high-spiritedness of local canines, with the Iditarod going on.

Local dogs high-fouring each other, and all that. Skulls full of "mush", you know.

I’ve watched it. It’s interesting, the first time, but, since I don’t like the cold, why would I want to watch anything taking place in frozen areas? *brrrr*

Poor dogs. They love to pull, but they’ll run their hearts out, just like a thoroughbred horse, if you let them.

Oh, I’m awake.

Courtesy of Tori, who knocked the bedside lamp over at precisely 8:00 this morning. I’m not sure she did it on purpose, but with her you never know. She was probably trying to wake me up so that she could get her can of Fancy Feast.

Little beast.
