So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

"I dont know....halogen lights arent very green... " Green light wouldn't be particularly effective anyway. What you want is more in the blue end of the spectrum.
Just consider each snowflake as a tiny solar sail. The push of the photons will easily make them move upward, just before they evaporate.

No snow flakes here...the sun is now poking through the clouds. I think the precipitation is done precipitating.

"But..but...arent WE nukaleer powered? And why do we need trains, out here in the arseteroid belt?" Well, some of these messages are for our poor Earth-bound cousins, who have to put up with global warming and such.
We are nuclear powered, and global warming is a goal for us. A four-year orbit means we only get one fourth the sunlight that we were used to. We compensate for that by making our solar mirror a concentrating one. And we use artificial lights in Habitats A and B for the growing plants and other food culture.
We don't need trains here in the belt, but these "arseteroids" are rather dumb, and sometimes we need to push their little butts around. We use nuclear energy for that too, with nuclear powered photon thrusters.

One of the Knights (our Rookie Knight of the Year :-) and his wife turned up this afternoon to serve the rest of the pasta dinner to the Spanish Mass congregation. If there’s any left after that, the high school youth will eat it this evening!

I didn’t have any, but Elen was glad to get a good, hot meal after two days at camp. And Tom got it all over him, which reminds me, I need to go spray his shirt before it’s ruined.

Well, Anoreth has left in the Purple Thing. If I don’t hear from the cops by 5:30 or so, I can assume she’s safely at church.

I felt the same way when my son (19 at the time) took the car to drive to Phoenix for a U2 concert. I don’t think I slept a wink!
Although it was a two-hour drive there and back, the concert lasted at least four hours. It was at that moment that I decided I should never have become a mother!!

"Its still coming down."
You thought it would go up? I've seen it do that, streaming up past the windows. But that was the lighter snow we had back east, not the soggy Seattle snow.

Agreed. But some blogs/sites are saying we’re headed into a “cooling period.”
