So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

Good Morning!

Gorgeous outside...although a mite on the chilly side.

Exactly here too.

I have a good view of the freshly snowed upon mountains from my front yard. I love this globull warming.

Yeah, wouldn’t you like to throw Al Gore into a snowdrift and leave him there until the thaw? I had to crank up the furnace this morning!

Someone stole our 2-gallon gas can (with a gallon of gas in it :-) out of our garage sometime between last October and this weekend. If they needed it that badly, they can have it, but we can’t mow the lawn until we get a new can!

Morning. I think.

I also think I’m never going to get used to DST! Dang!!
I can’t seem to wake up. Maybe that will end when the daylight comes earlier.

(Or maybe I’m just so far into a relapse that it won’t matter.) *sigh*

We’re not doing well since DST started, either. I opened my journal this morning and found nothing since Saturday the 8th! The kids don’t want to go to bed while it’s broad daylight and their friends are outside (don’t these people put their children to bed, or eat meals at home?), and nobody wants to get up in the morning when it’s going to be dark for at least two hours.

At least I know I’m not alone! DST is hard on everyone, including pets that are used to being fed at certain intervals.

When the time is changed, we don’t think much about it, until it’s time to feed the critters. They don’t know about hours and minutes...they know hungry and full, daylight and night.

I think we should use waterboarding on the congress critters that insist on DST...

I agree! My catz have been doing their Morning Chase-around about 3:30 a.m., EDT. Not fun, wakes the baby up.

The snake and the hermit crabs seem not to have noticed, though. DP read that the snake needed direct sunlight for her health, so he moved her cage by the window. Now she hides under the newpapers to stay away from the light!

LOL!

My daughter has her snake in a bright room, with high windows. Some parts of the day, the snake gets direct sunlight from different windows. He hides. I think it’s a winter thing.

It’s hard to keep the catz and dogz and birdz from being themselves. They just know how their tummies feel, and could care less about the TIME.

I try not to change much, meaning that I try to pick a time for giving canned food (they always have dry) that won’t be too screwed up with the time changes. Not an easy thing to do.

Thanks, Face. Happy Mid-month Ping to you, too!! I seem to have missed all the fun recently. I see we had a troll and I missed out. D@#&!

Several projects I’ve been working on are coming to a close soon and I hope to get back on the forum more frequently (read: daily.)

DST is hard on everyone

Not me. It's like a flight to one timezone away. Practically in the back yard.
