Congrats! Enjoy it! I’m a Bengals fan, and I wonder if my team will ever get a Lombardi. I do like the Manning brothers, and I was very happy to see your team win tonight.

Wow, that sucks for Brady.

Don't worry, Giselle is taking care of that.

Another team teh Giants couldn’t possibly win.

Except that once again, as with Tampa, Dallas, and Green Bay, they did what they couldn’t possibly do.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants!!!!!

And all of America rejoices. The Patriots began the season as cheaters, continued it as lowlifes and thugs, and ended it as losers, with Coach Belicheat on the verge of tears during his barely coherent post-game interview. It was almost a perfect game. What would have made it perfect was if the Giants had used the last second to kick another field goal and run up the score.

I've seen this game before--Super Bowl XXV.

Remember that game where the Giants shut down the Bills' vaunted offense and won it in a crazy squeaker? Today's game reminded so much of Super Bowl XXV--coach Tom Coughlin must have borrowed a lot from Bill Parcells' old playbook from way back then (Coughlin was on the coaching staff of the SB XXV-winning team) to win this game.

Now, let's see how fast the Giants trade TE Jeremy Shockey this off-season to get a better draft position. It's likely that DE Michael Strahan will officially retire soon, and the Giants will need a decent replacement DE to supplement Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora.

Strahan, in his postgame press conference, said that when the Pats took that last lead, he was walking up and down the sideline saying “17-14.” He was insisting that his teammates say it back to him and BELIEVE IT.

That's what they said before Super Bowl XXV when the Bills destroyed the Raiders in the AFC Championship Game and looked like they were going to do the same to the Giants.

“How ‘bout that sack late in the game!!!!!!”

That was the 5th FIFTH sack of the game. The Giants made NE look like a different team tonight.

From the gathering I was at...Belichick is NO Chuck Noll (who does have four rings). Lets see if ‘anything’ is made of his leaving.

It's remarks like this that make me scratch my head when people complain that Pats' fans are arrogant.

Looks like there's plenty of arrogance to go around.

Strahan and the D-Line should have gotten the MVP. Manning was just ordinary.

All of America hates the Patriots, with good reason. Belichick has no class, and he has trained the rest of the team to have no class. The dirtiest play I saw all season as a Browns fan was when Vrabel tried to take out Derek Anderson's knee on a play that was already whistled dead. The Patriots did succeed in taking out the Bills qb on a dirty play. Then they ran up the score, whenever they could. A classless organization, filled with thugs and lowlifes, with one of the biggest jerks in NFL history as coach.

This old Giants fan is STUNNED!

And yet some of us were predicting it. I think that magnificent play where they looked like they were just about to sack Eli and he got the pass off to Tyree -- the Giant's secret weapon -- who made a catch he didn't seem able to make was the point where the Giants put the Pats away. It was positively Simmsian.

Yeah, they all do it, some just don't get caught, so it's OK.
Huh?

Eli’s starting to remind me of Simms.
