It looks like nobody was picked from either Survivor 10 (Palau) or Survivor 11 (Guatemala).
Also, no previous winners but one 2nd place finish, two 3rd place finishes, three 4th place finishes.
That’s correct. No 5th place finishers either (Jonathan and James finished 7th, Parvati and Ami finished 6th).
On the TV Guide Channel “preview” it was basically said that they didn’t pick anyone from the Palau season because they were going back to the Palau location and didn’t want anyone to have an advantage of having been there before. Why they didn’t pick anyone from Guatemala, I don’t know.
I’m trying to think whose “favorites” these are? Did they ask each fan to name their favorite player? If so, what idjit picked John Dalton (I refuse to use that stupid moniker he’s adopted for himself). I guess they also decided not to bring back any winners, either, since Earl and Yul were certainly “favorites.”
But I count my blessings on this - no StepheME!, no Shane (from Boston), no Dreamz.
