Yeah, Fairplay’s spot was completely wasted. All-Stars needs villains, but they need villians who have substance and are actually fun to watch, like Ami. Jerks like Fairplay or Dreamz are just worthless losers who bring nothing to the show.
There are many who consider Jonathan Penner a type of villian for his season, but the kind of villian you love to hate. Eliza was likewise seen by many as a villian.
I couldn’t for the life of me understand why they didn’t try to draw Cirie into their circle of four initially - that would at least have given them five and Cirie has much more in common and would bond better with Jonathan, Amy et al. than she would with the Chicka-Boom alliance. Fairplay would have been good to use for the “majority” that first TC, but he was easily marginalized. All anyone had to tell the Chicka-Boom alliance was that Fairplay was lying if they brought any Fairplay stories to their attention.
Fairplay’s “lying” came back to haunt him. I think he realized that he wasn’t fooling anyone the way the Chicka-Boom alliance had hoped he would, and the two couples probably came to their senses long enough to realize that Fairplay was not going to be an asset to them.
Also, does ANYONE think Fairplay would have turned on the waterworks if he had actually gotten the immunity idol? Me neither (although his whining about Yau Man shoving him was pure gold!)
I’ll speculate that Cirie goes with Jonathan, et al. at the next TC so that one of the couples is broken up (I’m still wagering on Parvati) and no tie is forced.
Also, he seems to have learned that being kind doesn't pay all that much in the game.
Still, Fairplay's comments about a scrawny, old, Chinese guy with glasses basically beating him up was ironic.
Didn't watch the season with Fairplay, but have some sympathy for the guy. Guessing that his relationship with his parents weren't that great, which is why he's attention-grubbing and shifty. Do other freepers take his having a child with a huge grain of salt?
The dorky fan with the auburn curly hair seems a decent player (the one who got the immunity statue).
Vote off the sluts.
What about teams without an eyeglassed member? Could a beam of sunlight be focused with a drop of water. The rubbing-a-stick method seems difficult.
Supporting Yau-Man and then the dork.
I thought I had no respect for Fairplay, but then he quit, and I found that I had even less respect for him. Is that even mathmatically possible?
