Morning Grannie,
Sure looks pretty out there in the water. I could sure use a good swim about now. We’re having 98 degrees and the snow is melting fast, green all the way up the mountains tho, 11,000 ft high. Last friday we were up there, the drifts are only 6 - 8 feet high still.
Wow, those are beautiful pics! The water is so crystal clear.
Hey, I can even see Sharkey in the window in the third pic...
he’s got his binoculars, checking out the beach babes!
And, of course, as usual you have it wrong........they would be checking me out.......
:-)
That "contraption" is an old pier from the 1800's that got destroyed and has been laying under water. There are actually two massive pieces that you can only see from out in the water. They used to send logs off to Chicago and the rest of the US to build homes out of the huge Michigan white pines back then.
Urk! I meant the second pic, not the third. Sheesh, my weekend wasn’t long enough.
Why would the babes be checking you out, Grampy? Are you showing off your behind in those plumber shorts again? :P
Hey there ol’ FRiend, good to see you. It must be something to see that snow on the mountains at 98 degrees. We sometimes see that if we go up north a bit to the White Mountains. The snow in Tuckerman’s Ravine can last well into July.
I’d like to be taking a swim right now too and it’s only in the low 80’s here, but the pool is a bit chilly for me, and we’ve had such cold nights still that it’s not worth running the heater again. Sheeesh...a week and a half of summer, and our nights are back to feeling fallish. Must be all that Glo-bull warming, eh?
Yep,...that Frozen Tundra really looks nice in those pics. ;) They must be pics of some other lake further south, what do you think?
Either that, or it’s the only day of summer they ever had, and they just couldn’t stop taking pics. Ahem......
:-)
Much like the moon landing was really filmed in Arizona...........
It's why they have voting classes in Floriduh..........
:-)
(Shhhhhhh....I figured that out, but why ruin a chance to mess with ya?)
That water sure looks inviting. I love swimming in such clear water and snorkeling to check out all the under-water goodies to be found. Of course I might need a wet-suit to ward off the cold.;)
By the way...I haven’t gotten any pics of your flowers yet. ;) Isn’t this how this all started?
LOL...sighhh...I’m soooo glad that I don’t vote in Fla-duh.
No matter where I am,...I’m considered a “Flat-lander”.
Careful, Grampy, or I’ll paint a target on your plumber shorts when you’re napping in the sand.....:P
Lol! I think you’re onto something, Gran. :)
They may have to wait as I am being pestered by an ornery rodent.........
:-)
Thanks for the tip, Lame. When I hear that propeller, I’ll give it a good jab with my extra large pokey stick. That outta keep you out of commission for awhile. :P
Wiw. That is one BIG lake.
FOFLOL. ooops! I meant Wow. :)
Didn't we used to call those Darlinisms?
:-)
Awwwwww, nothing but wet sawdust left..........
:-)
