Yes, I will do that. I noticed he had a long face the other nite. LOL His Dad has nick names for all the players. ie: Zetterberg = Flitterberg. It’s hilarious. I can’t remember them all.

Dang, does this mean you will get out the Molson's and LaBatt's at 10:30 this morning? The game is on at 1:30 our time, so it must be......

And tell your son that Datsuyk's name is Gadzooks. He's magic on the ice.

And you know how Don Cherry has had a disdain for the European players, calling them Euroweenies? Well, these guys are the Euromeanies, or as I call them.....The Mean Swedes. They'll knock the head off of any Canadian player in the league, so watch out!

Go Wings!

Since you had fun with the, Kama Sutra um, er.....airplane post......

I copied this comment from an Orlando columnist: Did you see where Florida quarterback Tim Tebow recently helped doctors give circumcisions to underprivileged kids in the Philippines? Last year Touchdown Timmy won the Heisman; this year I’m predicting Dr. Tebow wins the Nobel Prize for Medicine. And I can hardly wait to hear the rallying cry for the Gators next year: “Win one for the Snipper!” And while we’re at it, may I suggest a new cheer for Mr. Two-Bits: “Two snips, four snips, six snips, a bris! Be careful, Timmy, make sure you don’t miss!” . . .

So when the Gators beat LSU and Georgia this year, the rallying cry? Win one for the Snipper!

Pup needed that........

Thank you for thinking of me! During Freepathons, you can find me pumping the heck out of that thread and I do become scarce. Regretfully the last one lasted the whole month of April. We need more Freepers to drop by and bumpit.

All last winter I had trouble regulating my diabetes and also ruptured a disk and happily have pretty much stabilized both.

Finally, I wasn't getting pinged to the thread and thought you had moved away and gotten another job.

Gosh, sorry about the disk, etc., glad you are stabilized.

FOFLOL. Heaven only knows! Right now, we appear to have our hands full with a lil ole 3 foot gator and Timmy is a whole lot bigger and smarter. :)

Gator in LSU lake eludes capture — so far

The wire trap was placed on the side of a small lake near South Stadium Drive to capture this small alligator and move him to a new location, but the alligator has different plans.

The 3-foot alligator calling LSU home right now doesn’t know how lucky he is.

When he showed up at the small lake near South Stadium Drive in LSU, facility maintenance decided that instead of calling in someone to dispose of the alligator, they wanted to trap him for relocation.

It all started about a month ago when the facility maintenance department received phone calls from people concerned that the alligator showed up just as ducklings around the lake were hatching.

“They were noticing that the ducks were decreasing,” said Ray Dudley, assistant director with facility maintenance at LSU.

Although they could have called for an animal nuisance removal, they decided to do something different.

“We wanted to humanely remove him and move him somewhere else,” Dudley said. “I just really don’t want to have someone come in and exterminate him.”

Instead, the plan is to get him inside the trap alive and then get him relocated somewhere so “he can live out his life,” Dudley said.

After a little research they found the right trap and then placed it on a dry spot of ground along the lake’s edge where the alligator had been fond of sunning himself.

Then it started to rain.

Now the trap is in a few inches of water, which evidently makes the trap the perfect place for the alligator to sun himself. More than once over the last couple weeks, the alligator has crawled on top of the trap to catch some afternoon sun — thumbing his nose at the whole attempt to capture him.

“It has been kind of a joke for us, too,” Dudley said. “So far, he hasn’t crawled up in there far enough.”

But that’s OK, Dudley chuckled. Even if it takes a month or two, it’ll be worth the wait.

“They will eventually get curious enough and hungry enough to go in (the trap),” Dudley said about alligators.

They say revenge is a dish thats best served cold, I dunno if it that is the case here or if its more like the chickens (finally) coming home to roost or just Karma very delayed but whatever, I'm betting there was a lot of squirming going on in that pew this morning. LOL

Clinton Sits Through Sermon About Adultery
May 18, 2008 12:42 PM

ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: When things couldn't be looking worse for Sen. Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency in 2008, as her rival Barack Obama closes in on gaining enough delegates to secure the nomination, the former first lady attended a church service in Bowling Green, Ky., Sunday featuring a sermon about lust and adultery.

The hour-long sermon focused on the sin of committing adultery -– as outlined in Mathew 5:27-32.

Clinton, D-N.Y., has often said her faith pulled her through the difficult time when her husband, former President Bill Clinton, had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Paul Fryman of the State Street United Methodist Church asked the congregation, "How is your commitment level in your marriage this morning?’

He spoke about lust and the sin of cheating on your partner. Clinton looked straight ahead as the man spoke about the theme of the sermon, which was: "Come Up Higher When the Devil Whispers Over Your Shoulder."

Clinton sang and participated in the service –- and afterwards shook hands with many well-wishers and community members.

This photo is pretty much a metaphor for the whole race, Big Brown out in front of the pack, the sun is shining on him alone and he looks fresh, clean and vibrant while the others are appear a little muddy.

Whata big ole pretty baby he is!

Exercise rider Michelle Nevin walks Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Big Brown around the stall area at Pimlico Race Course, Sunday, May 18, 2008 in Baltimore. Big Brown won the 133rd running of the Preakness horse race Saturday.

To a person, his handlers say that in addition to being incredibly fast, this is the smartest, most even tempered horse they've ever worked with. He sure looks to be the picture of calm the morning of the race.
