Not really Darks just a nice light grey background. I didn´t send projectiles to bounce of people’s heads just radio waves to bounce off the ionosphere.

And -51° is just the thermometer reading, how much colder would it be if you included the wind chill factor?

I wonder how America survived me - or perhaps it was just the beginning of the end. :) We wisely split off from Mudder England before your time...

Hey, artillery is an addiction. Yes it must be... Gunners always celebrate St. Barbara´s day.
They are just a lot of exuberant noise makers.
To help you Pippin here is the legend - damn artillerymen light the fuse and pray.
Saint Barbara lived and died about the year 300 A.D. She was venerated as early as the seventh century. The legend of the lightning bolt which struck down her persecutor caused her to be regarded as the patron saint in time of danger from thunderstorms, fires and sudden death.
When gunpowder made its appearance in the Western world, Saint Barbara was invoked for aid against accidents resulting from explosions--since some of the earlier artillery pieces often blew up instead of firing their projectile, Saint Barbara became the patroness of the artillerymen

Wisely indeed, otherwise I would be around to give America back to the Indians.
Oops - someone outsourced the place already.

Wow, you were alive during the 1934 cold snap. Yes Sharky I remember it well - Fagin had me selling matches to the gentlefolk by St James´s Square and trying to keep my hands warm with the ones I stole from the boxes.
And those were the good times.
