Late one night when we were all in bed
Old Lady Leary lit a lantern in the shed
And when the cow kicked it over,
She winked her eye and said,
“There'll be a hot time in the old town tonight!”
Fire! Fire! Fire!
Water! Water! Water!
Jump, lady, jump!
Weeeeeee! Splat!
Go to bed!!!
This pic I made is from the show "Ghosthunters" (TAPS) in which they went to this very same lighthouse the other evening because it's been reported to be haunted. I was so surprised to see that it was the same lighthouse that I have in VUE. I put the lightning in with PI, as VUE has no lightning that I've found.
One of the keepers of the light dove to his death from the top light gallery. (Oh, they didn't find conclusive evidence that the lighthouse was haunted, but they did get some weird readings that it could be.)
Good morning gran. You have certainly incorporated the light into your Vue beautifully.
You are the exception to the Amish proverb:
Ve get too soon oldt, und too late schmart
Of course a little haunting tale is great for snaring the tourists. :)
Going out with Jennifer in a few minutes I will see if I can get some pics.
Great, you go out with Jen, and I think I’ll get in the pool. ;)
Good day to you, Cardy.;)
Those nature pics are so beautiful! I could never get tired looking at those. That’s gotta be one of my favorite presentations. Some of them look like they could have been taken in Oregon. Two thumbs up for you! :)
A Powerpoint Presentation with music.
![]() Our Trip Today. Preparing to swing around the rock face. Getting to that spot was the tough part. After swinging around those rocks the only way out was to climb the cliff, luckily there was a rope to help part of the way. Beer never tasted sooooo good - I needed that. |
What? No pictures of Cardy swinging around that rock and then climbing the cliff with a rope?
DANG!
(Grin - hope you have had a nice nap after all that work!)
Lovely presentation, Cardy!
The twelfth picture in this presentation looks very much like a certain place that is very dear to my heart:
Jefferson Lake, Colorado USA
Great presentation - great music
Thank you so much.
Thank you yorkie for your comments.
It is nearly midnight here and you are in the middle of the afternoon.
Looking forward to my breakfast tomorrow morning - I don´t care if I do put on weight. :)
Yes. It is the most magical, beautiful lake in the world. I would be there with my family, the radio sitting on a picnic table playing classical music that would echo off the mountains, and row the canoe on a lake that was as still and clear as glass. Sigh....
That was the BEST ONE yet! What clarity in photos,...wonderful phrases, and beautiful music. That first photo looks like your area. Did you put that in???
A tear-jerker. Thanks!
Now I have to wipe my eyes and eat breakfast....sighhhhhh.
‘morning Gran, thanks for the remarks. I did not notice that, but do have some pics very much like that one. I just love the music but I must get a better sound.
I have had good lunch and you have just had breakfast.
Very beautiful, Cardy. What was the music?
