Marksburg Castle is the only hill castle on the Rhine that has never been destroyed. It has been lived in for over 700 years and thus represents an ever-changing and developing building complex that has been growing into its present shape over the centuries.

It is the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany.

Cardy posted another picture of it in post #3123.

Lady Jag gave a great description in post #3160.

Oh, by the way, I’m a dude-ette. ROTF!

My excuse is far more simple. My glide path would be far more vertical.

You would DO that? I’m still shaking, just thinking about it!

Heck - I won’t even bungie jump or para-glide! OMG!

Um,, I guess a typo is sitting in that last sentence. My excuse — for not doing it — is quite a bit more simple. I would ... not do it because ... my glide path would be much more vertical.

WOW! That would certainly give you an adrenaline rush, one needs great courage or be completely nutz to engage in such a pastime. I am with yorkie on that one I would be thinking SPLATTTT!!! too.

No, she is not going to do anything like that, she is only going to rappel a little way down the mountain. From the point they are now it is just over 3,000 feet, but from that height and with the depth of focus it certainly makes a great picture.
