Morning Cardy,

Guess my Spanish is not too good.

Thanks for the complement. I’ve yet to upload pictures, but no, no bathing babes.

It is just a Windows Media link which last about 20 seconds.

I saw that a while ago and it is true you read it as though there was no mixing of the letters.

Awww, looks like I missed some good ribbing between you two.
Seems like everybody is trying to keep Cardy smiling with all those pics of gorgeous wimmin.....we best not overdo it though. Too much excitement isn’t good for the ol’ man. :)

Beautiful pictures! We had a cold, wet and gray Easter Sunday, but your pics sure brightened things up. :)

Thankyoueversomuch :) I really liked it and I’m so happy that y’all enjoyed it, too. That beautiful winding road is located in the countryside about a 30 minute drive from me. Although that particular photo is about 2 years old, the entire area was just as beautiful over Easter, with possibly a little more color. I spent a lot of time up there this weekend and the whole area was simply breathtaking.

".... Hope you had a good one. ;) I did and I ate too much."

This was one of the most relaxed, long holiday weekends in recent memory. No out of town guests, so I got to spend time simply enjoying company of good friends and having some fabulous food.

I'm sure they were happy to get out of Rome. The weather was terrible.

Good that they were able to get to Malta today. The Monday after Easter Sunday is a holiday in Italy. Upbeat and looser, less solemn than the celebrations of Holy Week.

I'm sorry the weather was so unpleasant up your way :( Everyone always hopes for or anticipates pretty weather for Easter. Louisiana falls behind the rest of the country in so many areas but one thing we have in glorious abundance is dramatic scenery. Springtime down here rivals any place on earth for natural beauty.

Just this morning, when I stepped outside to get the paper, I smelled my neighbor's fabulous wisteria. It had bloomed over the weekend, its huge and completely laden with long, purple heads that are so fragrant. Pity that it will only be that beautiful for about 10 days.

Trigger-Happy Pilot? Gun Discharged Midflight Pilot Was Registered to Have Gun Under the TSA's Federal Flight Deck Officer Program

By EMILY FRIEDMAN, March 24, 2008 —

A US Airways pilot accidentally discharged his gun in the cockpit during a flight from Denver to Charlotte, N.C., according to the Transportation Safety Administration.

The Airbus A319 landed safely after the incident Saturday and without any injuries to the 124 passengers on board, a spokesperson for the TSA told ABCNEWS.com today.

The TSA said the passengers were unaware that a gun had been fired in the cockpit.

The pilot, who both the TSA and US Airways declined to identify, was a member of the Federal Flight Deck Officer program, an initiative put in place after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The initiative allows authorized members of cockpit crews to carry weapons on board.

"There are thousands of federal flight deck officers and this has never happened before," said the spokesperson. "This was probably a bit of a fluke."

The Federal Flight Deck Officer program provides training to eligible crew members on the use of firearms, use of force, legal issues, defensive tactics, the psychology of survival and program standard operating procedures, according to TSA's Web site.

Flight deck officers must requalify for the program twice a year; the pilot involved in Saturday's incident requalified in November 2007.

The gun went off in the plane's cockpit but spokespeople for both US Airways and TSA declined to comment on the position of the weapon when it was discharged, citing an ongoing investigation. The TSA also declined to say what the bullet struck.

"Federal flight deck officers are authorized and trained to carry their firearms on their person inside the flight deck of an aircraft," said the TSA spokesperson.

The weapon used by the officers are H&K 40-caliber semiautomatics.

As for the pilot's future employment with US Airways, the spokesperson for the airline told ABCNEWS.com that it's against company policy to divulge any information about the employee.

The US Airways aircraft has been grounded since the incident, pending the investigation.

Yes the weather for most of the journey was not a good as expected - but it seems to bad all over Europe. Anyway they are home in Malta now and Jane is happy cooking in her new kitchen.

To think that people do boring things like walking on treadmills or dangerous things like jogging with all that impact to exercise their cardiovascular system. I just sit back and check Sundog´s posts, pop another pill, and it is a good as a ten mile run and certainly much more fun.

I have always known that wimmin were essential to affairs of the heart.

Yes - although she has seen it on the laptop video camera when her husband was there a couple of months ago.

Now she showed me all the china she brought with her in its proper place ... I like the huge modern kitchen drawers with inserts just like the professionals use.

Best of all she showed me the beginnings of her wine and spirit collection that they brought along - neither of them drink so I suppose I will be detailed to look after that chore.

ALL the airlines are in such trouble right now, every single one of them. However, poor ole U.S. Airways is just not having a stellar day. LOL
