The two biggest complaints I get are, non-compatability with current industry software; and overuse of system resources for routine tasks.

Vista is like a gas: it will expand to take up the available space.

Purists will point out that it’s trying very hard to emulate a Mac.

Its not hard if the underpinning of the OS are suitable. You can with little effort make a Linux box look smell and feel like a mac. Maybe not as polished but close..

The problem is the underpinnings of MS os is crap..
