Morning, Net :)

I think when they do that the judges should ask for a different song.

If it was their only performance, I agree. But since they had three chances last night, they probably didn't make a big deal out of it.

What happened to the gal that had to learn Islands In The Stream? She must not have been worthy of a second look.

Remember when they had groups of ten perform on stage? Her entire group was cut.

She was dead weight anyway.

I just came back from the vet and it appears my dog has “left guided vestibular balance system disease.”

Unless the blood test show anything else there’s not much to do but treat the dizziness and nausea via medication and wait for it to run it’s course. It’s very similar to a stoke where the dog simply loses it’s balance and has a hard time walking. (Almost like when you’re really, really drunk - even more than Paula Abdul.)

The vet said it should take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to before she’s “normal” again. If it gets worse, it’s back for more tests but he thinks it won’t come to that.

Really weird stuff but hopefully we’ll get through it without anything but minor discomfort and some tlc.

Thanks again for all the good support last night! When the chips are down, Freepers are the best!!!

“If it gets worse, it’s back for more tests but he thinks it won’t come to that.” ******

Oh, that’s so great to hear!

Now, if Paula would only down a shot or two vice the whole bottle right before the start of every Idol episode, she’d bring a little more edge to the show again!

BTW, does anyone think that Hillary (behind closed doors) has ever called Obama the n-word?

OMG Yes! Probably with a few choice profanities in front of it.

Are you sure about 3? I thought if they really impressed the judges with their first attemp they got a pass. There were two days worth of people and each got a second shot if they goobered up their first attempt. Anyway, they get weeded out soon enough I guess.

Thank you so much!

The other day my husband said to me, “I’m so glad you’ve stuck with WW, so we don’t have to eat meat all the time like when you did Atkins.” LOL!!

So, its a temporary illness? Glad to hear it, but confused on the 'disease' part. I think of 'disease' as long term. But, again, super glad your dog is going to be ok. :)

I haven’t read last night’s thread yet, but I’ve already got a favorite—that Archuleta kid. He has it all—voice, looks, personality, but more important, integrity and humility.

Unlike Crybaby Boy, who allegedly lives in his car, without financial support. That boy is as phony as a three-dollar bill in a whorehouse.

I also like the little Phillipina with the huge voice, and the Aussie guy.

Not so impressed with the Irish girl who has been auditioning all her life. She’s one of those perpetual Also-Rans.

Rock ‘n Roll Nurse is another personal fave. She’s authentic, and she actually works for a living, unlike Crybaby Boy.

Politician Boy is good for comic relief. He also seems to be a genuinely nice geek.

Now I’ll go back and read to see if anyone agrees with me.

I’m glad that Abstinence Amy got the shaft, so to speak.

She was 17 going on 37, and has obviously studied all the Lolita moves, as she was coming on to Simon.

Another big phony! She may be fooling her teachers and parents, but she’s not fooling me.

Good Riddance!

Hey, that’s almost as good a story as the one told by one of our very own FReepers. Seems he lived in the Watergate Apts. when Slick and the Hildabeast were staying with friends across the hall. The Beast stepped out into the hallway nude, stewed to the gills, walked over and puked under this guy’s door. He opened his door to see what was going on, only to see Slick grab the Beast and haul her ass back into their apt.

Too bad he didn’t have a cameraphone...but that was back in 1973.
