Back home the bagel shop used to have a “Southern Pecan” flavored coffee. Really good. I’d always ask for “pe-CAHN” coffee, and they’d correct me. “The PEE-can flavored coffee?”
That just sounds nasty.
Must be a Carolina thang. I’ve said puh-CAHN all my life!
